You are right, I am talking of stock internal blown mustangs... They just happen to have forged internals and are made in 03/04.. Come with a distinct alternator whine.
You don't know my car from jack ****, what makes you think I wouldn't run a 600Rwhp mustang? Me and my buddies Cobra (510Rwhp/540Rwtq) have fun with me on motor... I haven't sprayed him yet because there has not been a reason to.

Would you still like to keep assuming ****?

The truth.. I don't know when the last time I saw a truly 100% DD car that trapped 90+mph (motor or hell really even counting FI) or ran 6s.. Are there some that are drove 1 or maybe twice a week, yea.. But true DDs is a different story. I think for his car be a true DD it is a very stout fox.
my car is drove everyday its not tore up. hell my buddy has 88 coupe that traps 90 91 on 17inch street tires and runs 7.88 on street tires also with a 5speed, and travis mcgill can vouch for that. lol and there both on motor, my buddy sprays a 90 shot and traps 96 on spray

Almost identical to my times when I'm on my RPMs... I'm on 18s when in street trim though.

Havent had a chance to spray yet. First day track opens up I will be though.. Shooting for 6.6X@104mph high 1.3/low 1.4 sixty.... Rear end go BOOOM!

i would like to fit some 18x10s on my car or 17x10.5s but there is no room for big wheels on foxes unless you break out the B.F.H. lol

you would think gm would have put better rearends in them cars with the amount of power they have stock.

No ****, but they didn't so we get to do even more mods to make it durable. Those bastards. I still love my GM junk but sometimes it just pisses me off. I foresee a new rear in my future as well.

Mine are just 18X9s... I might get them widened later but running around on a 275 is fine for the street, and they are cheaper.

Yea, would have been nice. It is like they were playing a big joke on us all.

I didn't just say 600. I said 600+ There are 2v 800-1000hp cars out there running on boost.

My point was, you claimed that boosted 2v hit low 13s to high 12s. Even 380hp boosted mustangs are a hell of a lot faster than that. There are N/A ATX 2vs hitting mid 11s. There are boosted 2vs in the single digits. So to say they can only get boosted 2vs into the high 12s was .. silly.

Check out this guy.

http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...w02gtauto.html

2002 zinc Yellow GT 355 HP/348 TQ N/A
TFS 44cc heads, VT STG II cams, Stock 01 Cobra short block, 11.7 CR, full exhaust and bolt ons on 93 Octane
11.65@115.86 so far

Even the built motors with H/C are in the 12.5 range. He might have a new edge with a 331 or 347 ci but not a 2v n/a. My car runs high 11's....and I can drive. 460 hp...I repeat 460hp You are not going to get over 325 in a 2v na......I tried. This is how the mustang camaro wars start.

To all of my friends here on LS1 Tech....I formally apologize for my ill informed mustang compadre'. Forgive him father for he knows not WTF he is talking about
He claimed no 2valve. He didn't say what modifications where done. Again read above.

Apologies accepted beforehand.

He didn't spend much at all. Most of that hardware was given to him by vendors for testing purposes. He has very little in that car. It's still a ATX 2v N/A GT in the mid 11s.

Until I see video is say

I was a full bolt on, full exhaust car @ 278hp, Heads and cams, especially vt cams, are not going to make another 75hp. Maybe on a mach, not on a 2v. When we start discussing boosted applications, the sky is the limit. I have seen sub 9 sec 2v boosted cars.

Now I will say, however, To run 11.65 @ 115 he was a stripped down, 4.30 geared with a fully prepped 3k plus stall trans and rear end. You say he claims no 2v, but you claim it is a 2v. Is it a 2v or not??

Anyone can SAY what they have.....internet racers come a dime a dozen. What happened to the days when you didn't even open your hood before a race and lied about how slow your **** was.

WHere is Stopsign when you need his infinite wisdom.

Here is a realistic 2v in the mid 11's VVVVVVVVVVVVVV

Well you'd be wrong in putting up that BS flag. Go talk to him. He's well known around the Mustang circles.
I have seen sub 9 sec 2v boosted cars.
Indeed.

I never said he claimed it wasn't a 2v. It is.

Again, he isn't lying. Go to that forum and read some of his posts.

<Edit>

I just invited him here for you to say he's FOS in person.

I'm not getting into this 2v SOHC thing. I couldn't care less if someone thinks a bolt on 2v ran 9.9@165mph or a stock one ran 16.7@87mph. Everyone here (for the most part) is knowledgeable enough to make their own choice in what they believe. If they don't think a stock 2v can run 13.9999999........well, who cares?
