Default my stock b4c z28 vs. buddy's 05 gto

so ive had my car away all winter and a couple weeks ago my buddy bought an 05 6.0 gto from my dealership i work at. its a pretty quick car and we went back and fourth about racing and who was gonna win. well i finally got my car on the road the other day and we finally had the opportunity to run. now if you dont know already my car is stock the only thing that i did was take my spare tire and jack out i have nothing else done. and my car has run a 12.7 at nyirp. also my car for some reason has no traction control ha. but anyways we lined up to run from a dig, i loaded up the suspension and i honked on the third honk we went and my car spun like a ************, i took off in front of him and was still spinning into second then my car decided to hook up and bogged down my buddy had his t/a on and was able to catch up and we literally were headlight to headlight all the way down the road and we let off at 120. it was a damn close race so we went again. this time i didnt load up the suspension as much i honked again and we went but again i spun and it hit second and bogged down again when it finally caught. again my buddy had his t/a on and pulled ahead of me and when i started catching up my headlight was at his drivers front fender and still reeling him in before he let off. now he is talking all this **** (friendly of course) about how his car is so much faster. and i just said " uk its funny how my car is rated at 305 and yet i still pulled away from you each start and you could barely pull me with your 400 horse ls2

Very nice... my car was a bit slower stock and my buddies LS2 GTO A4 gets pulled every time. He even has a tune now and I still manage to get him in the 1/4. We have done some high speed runs and track passes so never had traction issues against him. He was pulling 1.9x 60fts to my 2.1xs and I still pulled him on every pass.

2006 GTO A4 - Predator Tune 361rwhp (his best that day)

I don't have my slip but I think my best that day was a 13.2 @ 106mph on a 2.0x 60ft.

The fiancee was running the car that day ...she made 27 passes and unfortunately the clutch wasn't doing very well and the conditions weren't as good as when I ran (you can see the headwind in the picture). Here is her best from that day. (for driving reference....Her pass)

Sounds like good fun...your buddy still on the dinky stock 235/245s? Is he auto or M6?

Your car is really quick for a stocker...gotta love that cool fall/spring NY air.

Where's this nyirp track at? I'm over in Syracuse, we go to ESTA.
