Default Cam'd LS3 C6 vs 5.0 and 5.0

On the way home from work, I catch a light and I **** you not, I am in the middle lane and there is a 5.0 199x GT on my left and a 5.0 199x Vert GT on my right...

Here I am cam'n away but with the stock mufflers on so they probably didn't even hear me. Turned of T/C and when the light went green, the GT on my left pussied out but one on the right went WOT (I gave him the hit naturally) and I pedaled it out of the hole and eased a good 3-4 cars on him by mid 2nd.

1st race in a long time and it was a blast. A cam'd/bolt-on LS3 M6 C6 is hard to beat on the street......still feels kinda slow to me though.

Hope you enjoyed.

If either of you 2 guys are on here, they were beautiful Mustangs in great shape!

My mistake. They were both 1987-1993 Fox GT's with mods....not sure how much but still fun.

How far did he get out on ya before you hooked and reeled him back in? I know I have issues on the street on 19" runflats and you are prolly making similar power to me. 500+?

Half a car. I just let the clutch out as soon as I can to get the car rolling, not trying to launch the car with rpm, once the clutch is out in 1st, I go 50-60% throttle, grab 2nd go 90-100% and try not to hit the car I'm racing trying to stay in my lane. 500rwhp on 19" street tires does not hook until 3rd.

Actually I am going to try to get back into CEI somewhere but I'm not sure I could handle Ido. The new job is a bit much. Did you guys finish your project yet? Where will you be after that?

Good kill, Jay! It's always fun to get in a little run after a long dry spell.

Hey Stopsign, welcome back, it was getting boring in here, haha.

You guys ever not sure if the other car was racing or gave up? I got next to a 2001-2004 GT the other night and downshifted. I heard him downshift and hit it so I got on it and I was many cars out very shortly after. I never bothered posting up since I can't honestly say if he was racing or just gave up. He jumped off the highway with me after, but then got right back on so I couldn't talk to him. The almost 200 rwhp difference between the cars makes it hard to tell sometimes
