What does a pullied Cobra trap? 116-119mph or so? A stout cam only setup is in the bottom 120s.
Now you start talking cam only stalled A4s racing pullied Cobras from a 60 roll... Of course who do you think will get it? Race from a dig and see what happens. Talking M6/M6 though the fbody will walk away on average.
I completely disagree with this....I drove 1.5 hrs to the track pulled in line trapped 121 in 96 degree weather and that was with some belt slip up top.

That sounds right.....isnt there a white vert cobra that runs around the Bay area that runs pretty good?

So in good weather and it running tip top it would be what? 125mph car? Trailer it and do all the little things and you are now what 126-7mph? .. Most pullied Cobras will not see above 120mph.. There are a few here and there but the majority trap around 116-119. Go look up times..

What do you run?

It just doesn't add up to me.. You are running a mph that some of the fastest stock eaton cars run and you had belt slip, was in 100 degree weather, drove it there... Etc etc etc.... Just doesn't add up man.. I'm not saying you didn't run that but there is more to it than that.

I didn't say they were bolt-ons. The 3.23 gears came stock in A4 SS cars.

In the last video he definately wasn't pulling on the Cobra, it was the other way around. And most Eaton cars are good for one or two pulls before they lose alot of power from heat soak. But this is nothing you guys don't already know.

With that said every pulley Cobra I've seen is around 117mph give or take 1mph.

Personally I don't think I could own a 03-04 Cobra. Way too much hype. Everyone expects them to be fast. I like owning cars that leave people saying "WTF?"

The Yellow cobra in the last video trapped 121 all day and then 128 on a 75 shot . Our cars were always very close. However, he is now in the process of a F1A Procharger build, so there goes that!

With you two trapping within 1mph of each the winner would be whoever got the jump, even the slightest. Those are always fun runs!

Yeah, that's my boys Cobra. The highest I've seen him trap was 122mph. He's bolt ons, pulley, and has long tube headers.

You saw a bunch of poorly setup cam only cars... Any decent cam only M6 should *easily* be trapping over 117mph. Even a stout stalled A4 should be trapping over that pretty easily.
so all the cam only ls1s I see are poorly set up? ALL of them. seriously? and yes my brothers cobra trapped 121 and another cobra around here was trapping 120. avg cobras trap 118.

I am not arguing that is dosen't happen, b/c obviously it does. just not from what I have witnessed. thats where my argument comes from. I don't see it at the track or on the street.

i have never seen a 120+ cam only car and my pullied set up went 123-124 consistantly without icing down anything. my car actually never failed to trap lower than 121 on a clean hit when it was pulley only. i will say that i have only seen 1 or 2 other pulley only cobras go in the low 120's.

Yes...I am dead serious I drove to the track and ran that. I do think in good air this car will trap 123-124.....I have never said I think the car will trap 125 but cars I have raced that trap over 120 say I will. hahahaha

There is only 2 Ported eaton cars around here....one trapped 121 the other 122 I tried racing both but one deosn street race and the other said "I know how you drive"....and he sold it.
