I would think w/ the mods listed in your sig you'd be running 10's easily. What's the elevation at the tracks you race at? The ones here in MD range from less than 100ft to around 500ft so we get good air especially when it's cool out.

have no idea man. its central ohio...... I am sure I could run 10s. if I put gears, slicks and skinnies and drove it like I stole it. doubt the 10 bolt would hold it though. I am a m6 and its not as easy as your auto. so it would take practice. thats my point and my argument. they think its common and easy to run those times. maybe for an a4, not for a m6 and not with a 10bolt with stock gears......possible yes, easy no.

I wouldn't think it'd be easy either but definitely possible w/ practice. There's a guy on here w/ an MS3 and a 150 or 200 shot in the 9's w/ stock heads...he is an auto but still..even if you sucked you should still be able to run a 10 sec slip..lol.

Of course....not knocking you at all. Your car is fast. Care to share your setup. What gear? Intake? Stall? Cam?

Put intake/heads (no tune) on it and it ran 7.2s@96mph spinning its *** off (stock suspension) and hitting rev limiter (because of no tune). Same weather as last time.

My current setup only makes 370Rwhp but runs 7.2s@ 93mph full weight.. It still has a LOT left in it.. (intake/heads/was on nitrous tune hose runs)..

Power means nothing, it is the way you make it/etc etc etc..

BTW to answer your question , I am currently changing over to a FAST setup.. I'm shooting for 7.0Xs @ 95mph or so.. After I do heads I'm shooting for 6.8s @ 98mph or so. Hopefully I will still be able to shave another 2/10ths off of it and MAYBE 2mph just changing some odd and ends with it not sure on that though. We will see....
Nice........ 6's in the 1/8th is strong. Good luck and I am not being a dick.

Nice setup man! And yes I am going to have to agree you must have very good air there. What did you trap?

I think every place is better than California to have a nice setup....they make it tough on the enthusiasts it seems! On my 11.8 I was at 114-115mph and my 11.4 was at 119mph. Gotta love negative DA!

I also assume you have an A4?
Actually it is easy. My car went 10.92 @ 126 on the stock 10bolt with 3.23 gears and 17in BFG drag radials. This was on a 100 shot. Rest of the mods were TSP 228R cam, bolt ons, and a Yank 3600 stall. Full weight 3650lb. car. Best on motor cam only was 11.64 @ 116.

Its not as hard as you are making it out to be. It doesn't take gears, slicks, skinnies, and full suspension to do it.

That car is fast!! Thats the same camaro that your buddies Cobra beat from a roll? It was close but the Cobra won.

NavyblueSS- Thats are point you went 11.64 at 116. Once again we are talking from a roll.

I guess it is man. those are some good times. how many passes did it take you?

BTW - these are all a4 cars with stalls......

Not real sure why were are debating this. I know what my car is capable of. will I prove it, no. I don't want to go to the track. this thread was about a roll race. we were just pointing out that cory has beat (badly), several cam only and a couple h/c cars with his pullied cobra......

Yeah, but when they raced (LONG TIME AGO) the SS only had gears with a LS6 cam. With the LS6 cam he was running 12.3 @ 113mph. From what I know they haven't raced since then. When he ran those times and ran the Cobra he didn't even have longtubes either. I believe his SS is full weight too
