well what does that tell you then? some guys need a lesson on how to properly setup a LS1 theres no reason a cammed car should be in the 12's unless it has stock headers, stock intake and no tune

not all of them on this board are running 11's but ALOT are and ALOT from my hometown are so I guess im from fantasy land, there are bolt on guys running 11's also so what does that tell you.

I would say the majority are, and I will say it again yaw must have some slow improperly setup LS1 cars in your area.

look, I am not saying it dosen't happen obviously it does. but its not common and easy like you guys are saying. otherwise everyone would be running that fast.

Umnnn 448rwhp in an F-body is easy 9's.......just put a cam in your f-body and you will run 11's easy. If not, your **** is not right. This thread has got me excited to get off work and come home and read. Its funny.

Here we go I am sure you guys remember Havoc his car was very strong and could drive.....he ran right with Jagermeister N/A here he is running a 100 shot on top of that against a Cobra that didnt even make 500. Explain that....and I can only imagine how shitty Cobras run in Florida with the heat and humidity. My point is its street racing and anything can happen and a Cobra with a good driver is hard to beat. They have a **** ton of torque and hook well. This cobra made 490. Thats +15 more wheel than me, that can be made up on a good day here. Havoc is making 500. Thats 100 more than his cam only setup that runs door to door with jagers SS that everybody and there brother keeps posting.

My point is every race and outcome is different....I just showed you guys multiple cases of different scenarios with a proven cammed car vs some cobras and in some of his vids he is rolling on slicks and skinnies....and making a hell of a lot more than his cam only setp and jagers cam only setup.

Ls6.. It is a basic setup but it a well put together setup. She runs decent.

My old white TA cam only (stock ls1 intake) ran 7.5s@92mph in 2400DA (was like 90 degrees that night).
Put intake/heads (no tune) on it and it ran 7.2s@96mph spinning its *** off (stock suspension) and hitting rev limiter (because of no tune). Same weather as last time.

My current setup only makes 370Rwhp but runs 7.2s@ 93mph full weight.. It still has a LOT left in it.. (intake/heads/was on nitrous tune hose runs)..

Power means nothing, it is the way you make it/etc etc etc..

BTW to answer your question , I am currently changing over to a FAST setup.. I'm shooting for 7.0Xs @ 95mph or so.. After I do heads I'm shooting for 6.8s @ 98mph or so. Hopefully I will still be able to shave another 2/10ths off of it and MAYBE 2mph just changing some odd and ends with it not sure on that though. We will see....

Another fantasy land cam only Ls1 here...went 11.8 in the heat and 11.4 when it was cool. Mind you this was heavier than stock w/ a 12 bolt, subframe connectors, heavy suspension, 17x9.5s in front and 17x10.5s in the rear.

so, it was so easy you had to do a 12 bolt, susp and gears I am assuming? everyone is missing the point. These guys are talking like its just so easy to run those times. my point is its NOT easy and the majority of cam only cars aren't in the 11's. I know with a GOOD setup it is done.

I also assume you have an A4?

My car is also lowered and has street wheels (ET streets for the track) on it so it's not exactly optimized for the track.....plus it probably weighs in around 3700+lbs.
