If the 5.0 has 370rwhp, it does not produce enough power to overcome the torque spin of the tires that would be generated at the line. Your torque multiplication in first and in second would be such:
1st-12.23
2nd-10.82
Even with 75 percent throttle, with 390 foot pounds, you would not have enough surface rubber(tire) to propel the car at a quick enough rate to run a 12.7 or lower. In order for the 370rwhp, 3800lb race weight 5.0 to run 12.7 or lower, you would need a fairly hard launch. You won't get that with the stock tire. The 5.0 does not make enough upper rpm hp to compensate for the lack of traction off the line to run such times. Too much torque at such a low rpm coupled with the drive train gearing. Its too much for a 245 size tire to handle at a required rpm launch .
If you had 425rwhp, then yes. Cause you have the sufficient power upstairs to compensate for a lower rpm launch.

Given the 5.0 has the 3.73 rear and 245 tires:

Look it up. is not very hard to work. Fastest et for a BONE STOCK C5 Z06 is 11.78, fastest mph is 120.65mph.

Plug it into your magic little electronic dragstrip and see what you get. Were you that thorough when you exclaimed to the whole world that it is physically impossible for a stock '11 GT to run 12.7?

You're a ******* idiot. No two ways around it. Record for a stock C6 Z06 is 10.9x @ 129.xx IIRC, btw.

Its simple physics. NHRA drag teams use it all the time, its what the professionals do. With a 245 all season tire and the #s I had mentioned before, you will not reach 12.70 or lower. Is there a chance? There is always a chance I guess, but I wouldn't even put a dollar on it. Now, the more hp and wider the tire, the greater the chance. Hell, just the wider the tire would suffice.
Don't just take my word for it, talk to evolution performance and ask them why they installed different upper and lower control arms.

LOL dont change the subject! We all know that your hero evolution mustang was gutted running on slicks and skinnys. had full suspension and tuned to the max! Lets see a repeat of that performance. I will be at milan dragway tommorow I hope one of those 5.0 drivers lines up against me thinking hes about to whup a stock looking Ls1 camaro. He's gonna be in for a surprise lol!

03 cobra> 11 mustang gt... If you ask me. How much rwhp can you get out of the 2011 gt with a stock block?? Oh wait nooo-one knows?? Ok so why brag about the car yet. What if its almost maxed out. Internals are forged so either A ford did that because knew people would slap a s/c on it and make it helloffast or B It needed it because motor was close to its limits.. I may be wrong who knows but thats what i think..
