Sorry its my personal opinion. I like the bland styling of the goat and the comfy seats. Thats why I bought it. If I buy another muscle car I would get a 03/04 cobra or Low mile SLP SS with the center exit catback.

I actually like the GTO. I just found it ironic that someone that owns one called the new GT "limp wristed"
People are acting like the 5.0 has a new look. It doesn't. It's a 2010 with 5.0 Badging and a bad-assed motor.
And I've seen plenty of 2010s around, and they certainly do no look "limp wristed"

In all seriousness a 2011 mustang looks better and will just walk away from the LS2 GTO..
base model mustang with it's 4.4 second sprint to 60 mph and 12.7-13.0 main stream slow mag times is the new top dog of the middle ground sports car..
Im takeing my daughter car shopping this month..Anyone know how much these cost? V8 or v6????
The V6 with 104 mph trapp speeds??? My 2004 2.73 geared auto C5 vette only hit 104.5 mph on it's highest mph ever stock at the drag strip

I'll posted video's up later when i get a chance but we had a track rental today at atco an 5.0 Mag was there with a 2011 GT. On 28" slick an skinnys with cat-back an CAI he went 11.8 at 116 with a dry ZEX 100 shot he went 10.88 at 124. The car was missing the passenger seat an back seats along with whatever was in the trunk i think it also had lower control arms. After watching the video when i got home it looks like hes got a 2 step an deffintly a clutch launching from 5k.

that was them i got it on video. It didnt have full interior on its 10.88 pass it was missing a passenger seat an backs seats with nothing in the trunk.

Hey Doubty McDouche, the car definitely had the whole interior on the 11.82 run. I can't speak for the nitrous runs, but all 4 seats are clearly visible in these runs...

there is another point in this discussion thats going to make 2010 SS guys mad. 4th gen cars are going to rack up kills vs. 2010ss. easy kills. the right combination of mods for LS1 cars will keep them in the fight. im personally amazed at that considering the head flow disadvantage. weight counts for a lot here. a 4th gen car that weighs 3300 has a 500 lbs advantage over a 5th gen. thats a half second. and a 200-300 lb advantage over the 2011 stang.
fbody=3400-3600lbs. Mine weights 3450.
Do you know with the right mods a 5th gen is over 500rwhp? Yep, its not going to be in the game
500rwhp is at hand with cam only/boltons. Damn, 475rwhp was achieved pretty often with LS1s...When plp will start putting crazy cams in LS3, this is going to be mad!Weight will be easily removed from 5th gen; the wheels only are going to shave a lot!! Skinnies will do wonder.
