Im running a set of 215cc heads done by Rich from pro.heads. And comp cam 238/242 .615 .611 111LSA
This was done at ATCO, everyone knows that "atco" times can never be duplicated any where else but there. They have crazy negative DA's that are justs unreal. A C6 Z06 anywhere else traps any where from the low end of 120 to high 124 tops! That go's the same for here in chicago IL. Im sure my GTO would be a 10 sec car @126 at atco no problem! Tell Ranger to bring his sorry Z06 to chicago and watch his 10.7 @129.50 turn to a sorry 11.7 @120 to 124 if he's lucky.

Will do should be a good race, hopefully i dont get walked to bad.

More like I'm the one hoping not to get walked too bad, you have a slightly bigger cam and i'm still on the stock heads. I'm hoping to be in the 116ish trap range.

My viper put down 459 sae on a dyno jet with kn intake and arrow roller rockers..

At this level his stock C6Z06 (455 rwhp so she was a strong stocker) would beat me by 2-2.5 cars from 50-140 mph..

Then after deleteing the cats for straight pipes the car was 470-475 rwhp (never dynoed but 1/4 mile mph was up a solid 1 mph on average)

Then he was constantly 1.5-2 cars ahead ( till we added passangers) then I could win..I think the Vipers at the time 500 sae tourque didnt mind the weight while his vettes 430 sae tourque didnt like the extra weight..

From a did to 140 mph at this level with no passangers they were a walsh..But from a roll at my 475 rwhp vrs his stock 455 rwhp he was 1.5-2 cars ahead by 140 mph..

I then added exhaust and a sct tune..Wow that tune really woke the Viper up..He added a mild street bully cam/intake/tune for 500 rwhp sae..

We went again and were dead even on 10 runs from say 50-130 mph..We were both around 500 rwhp at this time, but my new titanium exhaust and carbon fiber 2008 style hood reduced my weight by 100 pounds...

Anyways I awnswered your question and then some...

stock???

Intake/roller rocker 459 sae
no cats 475 sae (aprox)
titanium exhaust 485 sae (aprox)
sct tune 495 sae (aprox)

I have since added light weight flywheel and light weight underdrive pulley but we havent raced yet (aprox 500 sae)

stock for stock.

50 mph beep beep beep..

Viper jumps out .5-1 car length and holds till 75 mph

by 80 mph they are even

by 100 mph the z06 is one car ahead

by 130 mph the Z06 is 3 cars ahead

Vipers yourque helps a lil in the beginning but the power to weight ratio of the Z06 will put it in front every time..

it took my viper 475 rwhp to finally be able to run dead even from a dig to 140 mph with my friends stock Z06..

Z06 is no joke

Thats what makes this 3900 pound GTO so impressive!

say get another race in these farm lands were you both dont have passangers and a camera mount..I have faith in your GTO but I think you will be 1-1.5 cars back..

we did the gto and it was pretty much dead even with the stock z06 but with the gto a little ahead

Atco is a BS track man..Come on..All the records are set their and these records are like 3 tenths and 3 mph faster than the records at other tracks..

here in hawaii my friends stock Z06 went 12.1 at 121 mph...My 378 rwhp head/cam LS1 vette went 12.8 at 111 mph through an auto..

This old guy who at the track went 11.8 at 123 mph in a stock Z06 and everyone was blown away..

So yes I belieave that Rangers 11.0 at 127 mph on stock tires would only be 11.4 at 124 mph at my track on stock tires..
