nice, run you car definitely moves. Your car sounds sick in person too, i was the one behind you in the cts-v as you left modern muscle. Also if you dont mind, i would like to run against your gto, I'm just curious to see how my v will do. I just got my clutch issues taken care of and havent had a chance to go to the track or run anyone yet with my new set up.

Hey buddy i dont know what to tell you, WE all though for sure the Z06 was going to pull me hard, I did a video the night before the race to see what my 60 to 150mph is, I know Im in the LOW 3sec range 0 to 60, and from 60 to 150 only takes my car around 14 sec. So 3+14 puts me around the 17sec range 0 to 150. So after i showed my dad that he was like humm.. well i think this will be close lol.
here is the video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Jk730d5IvI
and here is a video of my car at byron, just the speedo, sorry for the zoom in.

I think the big yank PT 4400 converter eats some of my mph in the 1/4 mile.
To be honest, im not sure yet, Im still undecided if i want to pull the trigger and install the Stroker 416cid, or Just sell the GTO and get a Z06, You can find a 2006 C6 Z06 pretty darn cheap now a days and same with a C5 Z06.
Still not sure, I love the GTO to death, have had it since 07 new, and has been a blast to build and drive. But when its all said and done its still just a GTO lol. A sleeper GTO that is ![Angel](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_angel.gif)

Damn, the hit on that converter is incredible. I think I need to call Dave and upgrade after seeing that!

Secondly, I just chuckle when you say that your full weight GTO is 39xx with you in it....hardly the "fat pig" people make them out to be.

Awsome cars man.
I got a kick out of the first video though.
1. You guys runnin 150mph and what flashes past? A F*ckin driveway and a house lol...
2. After your brother hits 150 and the race is over your father's tone "slow down" would make you think your brother was going like 65 in a 50 lmao... Be safe.

Badass race!! What H/C/I you running?
Dexron VI i assume? I've heard enough horror stories about Dexron IV and V. Also, a local builder and friend of mine built the fastest Hummer in Washington. Thing was at 900rwhp for 1 year before the 4L65E went out. The STOCK 4L65E! He told me as long as you keep the temps down he doesnt worry until you pass 600rwhp N/A or F/I. It's the nitrous hits that kill them he said.
Im running a Mickey Thompson ET Street. and my trans is stock, I was told by a few trans builders that the stock 4L65E can hold 500RWHP, as long as you keep the fluid cool and dont burn it. So im running a big transcooler, and also a deep trans pan with fins to keep that fluid cold! I always change my trans fluid every oil change, about every 2,500 mi.

[QUOTE=SLOW GTO;13365741]Hey buddy, I remember you. You think my car sounds sick in person, you should here your CTSV
It sounds so mean, when you turned on to Dougless rd. But anyways yes im always up for a new race, win lose or draw its always fun, i do go to the dragstrip quite often, byron and gld for the most part. Next time i head out you should tag aglong.
Awesome, i'm the same way too, win lose or draw its all about having fun. Just let me know when and i'm there. I'll pm you my info.
screaminredz here is a link to my dyno run, mods are a few posts down. https://ls1tech.com/forums/cadillac-...-dyno-vid.html

My best power pull so far was 457rwhp but only put down 395 rwtq, im sure if it was a cooler day and not so humid the car would have put down more around the 460rwhp range. My other dyno pull is 452rwhp and 401 rwtq. Again this is going through a big stall 4,400 and a 391 gear. I know the Gear eats at least 20+ rwhp on the dyno.

Im gonna say somthing Ive never said about a GTO....
IMPRESSIVE
As for the 121 mph trapp speed..
Guys stop smokeing that stuff..Go to the Z06 fast list on the vette forum and check it out...127 mph is the top of the top..
122-125 is average..
BUT
Dont forget the Z06 had two people inside. Z06's do not like weight..Remember it's just a lil 445 rwhp car wich in it's self is nothing special..What is special is 3150 pounds plus a 200 pound driver and 445 rwhp plus a 3350 pound race weight..
I raced my friends stock Z06 with 455 rwhp when my Viper was 470 rwhp and he could pull me by 2 cars every time by 130 mph..
We both did the same exact runs but this time we both had our equal weight wives in the car..
For what ever reason the tables were now turned and now the Viper was continuously a car ahead by 130 mph..
Z06's dont like weight!!!!!!!!!!!!
