The camera car got a jump and then the Vette almost immediately stopped the pull and then went flying past like a freight train for the one gear they were in after he stopped the pull. I wouldn't call that keeping up.

Well he was pulling me hard but I let off before him because there was a cop on the opposite side that had someone pulled over so we didn't get to do another. But there is no chance of me holding him untill I get my new cam and some heads.

This was just a see what I can do kinda races. His car is sick though he is a member on here.

For the folks asking speeds it was maybe 50 to 80'ish I stopped in mid 3rd.

OP..**** man get those heads/cam...my 2004 vette with ls6 heads and 224/224 cam hit 378 rwhp..thats baby power these days..Time to step up the game!!!!!!!!!

I hate how these new camaros can run 13.0...new mustangs can run 12.7 and freaken base vettes can run 12.4!!!!!

There's not much power to gain at all with aftermarket or ported LS3 heads if your car already has them: matter of fact, I don't know of any LS3 car that has ported there heads unless they upped the displacement also. no point, small bores will not support any more intake flow no matter how large the cam! And hogging the exhaust will only net 5-10rwhp: not even close to worth the $$$ invested in the chore.

Ok thats what I thought but my friend in my car thought u said heads as well, ya I wasnt sure what was going on, but I was in 3rd should of been 2nd.

The guy recording is gonna bring a nice camera for next week, and we r gonna get a lot of runs everyone vs everyone basically one big video(or try). Because I beat that heads/cam trans am(black) by about 2 cars from a 40 and he said taht cobra takes him by about 2 1/2 cars so I want some of that lol.
