Ugh, I've just never liked Hondas.. Only one I would ever consider is an S2000 and even then I'd prefer a different 2 seater vert.

I have a local kid in town who has a fully built CRX with about $20k total into the car and it still looks ugly. I'm sorry, but damn don't be bragging about beating stock c5's with a CRX. Nobody cares.. at the end of the day you are still driving a POS.

At the end of the day though, to each is their own I guess

I'm talking for a nice cruiser. Lol didn't say it had to be fast. I do like my dad's 07 Solstice GXP that I bought him stage 2 for his bday

if his CRX only keeps up with C5 vettes something is very wrong. my buddy spent a 1/4 of that and pulls on cammed/bolton c5's, etc. lol

The '00-'03 cars have been as low as 13.7 IIRC, and the '04+ cars have been as low as 13.6 stock... not "turds" persay, but definitely not drag racers.

I worded that wrong. He was talking about pulling on C5's badly. Like 60 year old men just driving their cars around

And don't get me wrong S2000's are alright for what they are but for the price on them new I'd rather have something else. I'm still working on convincing my dad to mod his Solstice GXP more than just the Stage 2 I did to it. It pulls pretty damn good in 3rd gear

ditto, and a car that can run a 13.6 and isn't even meant to go fast in a straight line is awesome. S2k's are some of the best handling cars out there. Don't buy one if all you want to do is go in a straight line.

Not that I like it, but the holes in the rear bumper aren't for weight savings.

The thought is these holes allow air to pass through the bumper easier. Eliminating drag/resistance, etc.

It works, not well - and looks a bit funny.. But some people like it. I personally don't, I'd get some other form of a diffuser.

Eliminates the "parachute effect". I wouldn't expect someone with a car as slow as yours to have to worry about aerodynamics.

How do stock s2000's from 00-03 run 13.6? they are rated at 14.2 stock with right about 240hp. 0-60 in like 5.8. Doesn't make sense to me. Is there a difference with IIRC? What is that if there is?
