Nice kill. My 06 sti had 400whp and was running 11.2-11.4@120-124 cunstent. I had a ton of work done to it. From a build block to a big turbo. My friends 01 SS with heads and cam could't stay with me from a roll or dig. But maintening the car is expensive thats why I got a g8 GT.

The turbo was a Garrett GT3076R. It wasn't a huge turbo, but it was bigger then the stock one. This turbo's were used in autox's and road courses. Garrett GT35R where used for drag race's.

Just curious, what was his mph on the 11.7 pass? How much power did he make on 100 octane and how much on pump gas? I know you said he made less than 340 and beat the WS6, but I don't know what kind of a boost the E85 can give over pump gas. Do you have access to any dyno sheets for it? Thanks!

GOOD KILL
Haha somehow I knew his STI would be brought up.... Racing a GTO really isn't saying much when they weigh like 400lbs more then him. BUT his STI is running on like 25psi correct? & then hes got his bolt ons & weight reduction. & running on some tasty alch. But hes not the "fastest" anymore...
Here's his pass... 11.78 @ 113.18

Evo def mod better & cheaper.. I think the looks of the Evo & Sti done right are both even. But the newer Sti are UGLY as **** 2nd gen Sti FTW. I like the Evo 8 & 9 the best. The Evo 10 front end is ok. The rear is just to awkward & flat. But its better then the 3rd gen Sti.
That thing looks pretty dam mean

Thanks for the info, looks like a fast car! The weight reduction definitely explains alot, but still, 113 mph is not enough to beat many cammed LS1's and even fewer heads/cam LS1's and GTO's from rolls. Also, if he was on 100 octane running more boost to trap that 113, but on 91 octane when he raced those cars then something sounds even more off. Either way, I don't doubt that it happened, but won't be the norm.

Also, 400 rwhp is good for alot more than 113 mph in an fbody, so even that doesn't make sense, but anything is possible on the streets.

I figured he was on pump gas for the races since you said he made less than 340 and beat/hung with those cars and he dynoed on 91 octane. Thanks for clearing that up!
