I've never posted in this section but for this i had to. A guy at work found out that i had recently purchased my t/a and his **** talking began. This guy is in his mid 50's completely bald except for the sides like bozo the clown. Anyway he has a 1990 regular corvette and kept running his mouth all day everyday. I kept telling himi would clean him up pretty bad as those cars had about 250 hp at the most. Long story short we left work and ran from a dig. Needless to say after i got done spinning i went around him faster than Grant took Richmond prolly 7 or 8 carlengths by the time i hit 110. He hasnt said much this morning s far lmfao.

Sweet kill man. I don't know what it is with old guys thinking thier mid life crisis mid 80's vettes are the fastest thing out there. Similiar thing happened with a vette owner I work with running his mouth and a guy I know with an audi S4 handed him an *** whoopin. It made for a funny story, lol.

Theres 2 simple steps to make one of those vettes fast

Step 1: Remove TPI engine
Step 2: Install LS1 engine

And there you have it!

I've been talking **** to him this morning about the tpi engine he has and he tried to tell me they came stock with 330hp lmfao. What did they really have around 250?

 

yeah 250hp and a **** load of torque. That TPI is a true tuned port intake, giving it big block levels of torque... and a horribly low rpm range. They stopped making useable power around 4500rpms. Great for burnouts, sorry for racing.

 

They were rated 245 HP and 340 lbs ft. They are torque monsters but the 4300 RPM power curve shutoff really kills them for ANY performance at all.

 

This just keeps getting better. Now he tells me it was upgraded with a zr1 engine and that's why it has 330hp. I looked at the engine yesterday and it was just a plain old tpi that looked like hell.

 

A ZR1 engine is an overhead cam engine: tell that tool that he doesnt have a clue about cars and that he should go buy a Volvo or Saab or something so that his ignorance can be understood.

 

Told me this morning he thinks his fuel filter was clogged and that's why he lost. lol I could race this douche rod and beat him 20 times in a row and he would still have excuses.
