Default extremely funny

I'm a senior in high school but dont have a first class so I'm out until 9 but the g/f has a first class, and I had to drop her off today because her slomaro broke down on her (starter). I was going to drive the beater but then remembered that theres a 5 mile stretch of highway I have to go down, so I take the beast and am on the way back sad from no action when I see a yellow vette (had no badging whatsoever but did have muffler plates) pull up next to me and it's my school librarian and I'm like "well **** there goes my last chance" and then she drops to neutral and revvs, gives me 3 horns and we go I got her by 3 car lengths and then when we have to stop at a light she's all grins and I find out it's her husbands and she doesnt even know what's under the hood, she said "I just like to go fast, I made him drive the minivan today"

Sorry for the double post, I had to ask my dad what kinda cam was in it, I put it in like a year and a half ago and couldnt remember the size but knew the brand. He told me "1/2 in." so that's what I put down. speaking of which, anyone know of a way to get better gas mileage without having to buy something stupid like the "tornado"

I doubt your gonna get very good gas mileage with that 750 double pumper on it, thats a pretty big carb. I'd say your best bet on gas mileage would be going with a smaller carb, somethin like a holley 750 single pumper with the vaccum lines. We've got one of those on my truck and it pushes plenty of gas. Oh and my truck has been bored .40 over, stroked, a .589/.592 lift on the cam, flat top pistons, holley dominator intake, and some type of accell racing style distributor. Engine was once dynoed at 500hp to the crank when it had the older ported and polished double hump heads.
