I believe I was at 5k RPM, can't remember now - bit annoyed with the car..

Seems way too aggressively geared for how much power you are putting down.
I like it but yea may switch to a GSR tranny

Yea man that thing runs strong! Mustang got the jump at the start but you started reeling us in haha. Wish we got 1 good run before it went. That damn tractor trailer!!! Good luck and I hope you can bring her back soon.

I'm very frustrated also. Cam upgrade turned into bent valves in about 8 miles. I think a failing oil pressure regulator for the lifters caused them to over-pressurize, throwing off the geometry and bending valves.

I'm tempted to sell the damn thing as is. Looks like we've both got work to do and $ to waste.

Im suprised that none of the Turbo guys here run E85, massive gains to be had and its safer in 99% of cases.

Thanks bro, I could have been in 2nd but decided on 3rd to try to keep traction issues to a minimum. Did pretty well considering lol - already workin some deals for pistons and rods

You'd have to keep a big tank in your garage, because it in New England you can count the stations that have it on one hand.

Pump 93 & meth is the only real world way to go for high octane fuel on the street.

For traction do you have the possibility of adjusting your boost by gear?

It really is an amazing thing, when i had my hondas if i was to ever turbo one of them that would have been my plan of attack (and E85 since it is plentiful in the midwest)

broke a piston racing Blown07GT... was a great race, its too bad... but its all good, will put the stock pistons i have back in and run ~9/10psi instead of 13 until its sold. im in over my head with all this dead, this was a slap in the face and a reality check.

I've come to realize that through the years of building cars you kind of just have to accept the debt and being broke all the time. I'm 25, live at home w/ parents still, and have no money in the bank. I have a trans am thats gonna be bad *** when it's done and a 2008 shelby GT. Is it worth it?.......Hell yea.

You have to live within your means! That's why I have a GTO with almost no mods and a Buick Regal that I got for free!

School owns all my finances right now.
