Yeah I agree. I wish I could have tied into a M6 track pack 5.0 with a good driver, but it wasnt meant to be. At least with us running at 3400'+ in 95+ deg F air, traction will not be an issue for anybody- With that kinda DA I couldnt get the 5.0 to do more than chirp the tires off the line even with bringing the converter up to near stall and then going WOT immediately. Should be similiar with the other cars- they will all be slow equally. lol

I'm completely open to however this turns out: I got no preconcieved notions about how these LS1's are gonna compare- though I think it will be close either way. Maybe.

Im kinda up in the air about this then, it could be anyones race but Im giving it to the ls1's simply because the 2 5.0's are completely stock vs modded ls1's and the 5.0's are both automatics (which shift slowly from the factory) and they both have 3.31 gears.
I know this is a test for you guys and that those are the only two 5.0's you could get but i dont think its a good comparison really but I'm not blaming you, Im glad you guys could set up somethin and have a little fun.
Still waiting to see a 3.73 5.0 m6 vs ls1 m6.... Sorry but its goin to be the 5.0 that wins if they have equal drivers. I dont see whats so hard about understanding that.

Just got a hookup from a member here who read this: he has a friend looking for a race against a LS1 Fbody- and he has a track pack equipped M6 '11 5.0 GT. And he lives near my house back up in washington state! I'll be getting in touch with him next monday to get a run in before I go under the knife for my L92 heads/cam/intake. I also have alot of friends with various stage LS1 Fbodies: mild to wild. I'm sure we can see where he fits in! He also has a BMW 335i (mods unknown).

the stock rear gear in the 2011 AUTO is actually a 3.15 and that is the only option from ford..for the auto cars..

2011 gt auto vert weighs 3770
couldnt find a weight on a auto coupe.
and if anyone is trying to set something up around KCMO area, id be game as well.. i have a 2011 5.0, 6spd, base, 3.31's bone stock still.
