I was driving the TA....my cobra needs a clutch. My brother had to work in the A.M so I said I would take the TA down and race him NA......the cobra did not want to at all.... I have heard for years that this is the fastest pullied Cobra ever!!!! It runs strong. But not the fastest I have seen. I though they were good runs. The First was the best and we didnt get it on vid.....Cobra spun froma 30 roll and took to 125 to track me down all in all it was fun....

386 seems a little weak for a MS3 car with LS6 intake and supporting mods. Is your car an auto? (I can't tell because of the cobra exhaust)

yes I know its weak, don't know why. motor was checked out fine. but it runs very well so thats all that matters to me. I have a hooker catback and the tuner said its not flowing well up top. thinks I will pick up 10-15 wheel with a cut out. it is a m6.

True, how it runs is much more important than numbers. Maybe a cutout and a couple degrees of timing and it will creep over 400.

That's the same way I am! If the race is close, why waste the nitrous when you know what the outcome would be.

Hell why not spray, you are already spending more $ the moment you smash the gas

The TA made 386 on a scorching hot day with mad humidity and its tuned for nitrous. The car does run very good.

I kinda figured it was a humid day and possibly a nitrous tune with timing pulled. Are you guys on 91 or 93 octane fuel? I used to have a 224 cam only, bolt'on car with a 200 shot on it and I still ran 25* of timing max. Brought the timing in 1-2* at a time as I climbed through the RPM's. Might suggest it to your tuner.

My 224 cam only car put down 390/370 on motor and 550/620 on spray. Stock bottom end w/ 120K on it. Don't be afraid. I used to put about 5 car lengths on a pullied cobra with that setup.
