Default Killed my friends 96 LT4 c4 vette last night

Well wasnt too much of a race. My friend isnt that much of an enthusiast as me I picked his mods for his c4 and it looks dam sweet but definitely in need of driver mods. We were headed home and surprisingly he pulled up beside me and wanted to go. Dropped to second and let him hit first.. Quick pull and steadily cruised past him 2 cars by the end of 2nd and nailed 3rd when he let off. I pulled in to get gas and he pulled in and was like WTF... I know he has no clue about the ls1 motor and expected to destroy my ss because its just a 'camaro' . To make him feel better I said I got a jump and at higher speeds he should win. Not.

My car is an 02 ss, 345 hp package, kooks LTs, random tech high flow cats, b&B muffler , stock paper filter and a tune.

His car is a white 96 LT4 slammed to the ground, 19" ccws, b&b triflow cat back, magnaflow high flow cats and thats it.

C4 Lt4s are sleepers and with good driving can touch 12s stock. Nice kill

Ya they can be fast. Its amazing though how lazy they can feel with the stock dual mass flywheel if you dont have the revvs up and ready. I think he may have been better off in 1st gear. EIther way he daily drives it and isnt a fanatic like me about making sure the car is 100% and running as best as it could. I bet his K&N hasn't been washed yet in 50k kms lol. I picked out his mods for him, but he doesnt have nay interest in upkeep. Hell I wouldnt leave my driveway with wheels like those and not have my rotors painted flat or satin black. His calipers and rotors are in horrendous shape but he doesnt care. It still looks great though. Here's a pic I took just last night after our hockey game.

c6z is my cuz' we all play on the same line.. the 'vette' line as we call it lol even though mine is still under progress the ss is a worth subsitute Pretty soon I'll fit in just well when I get the GC coilovers on, slam it and add the 19/20 HREs and paint my calipers and rotors flat black, clear corners, etc etc etc.. my garage is filling up with parts !!

Yeah, and that's my favorite interior too. My mom used to have a '94 LT1/A4 with the red/black interior.

My buddy was hell bent on a c5 but started to appreciate c4s more being around mine. i told him he can have a sick sick c4 that is better looking (when modded right only), more unique and more rare than a c5. I picked out his wheels, told him to buy a b&B exhaust, lowering bolts and voila he has a badass c4 for cheaper than a c5 was.

here's a sneak peaker at my 93

Yep, and I took such good care of it that I got the keys when I turned 16 . She didn't GIVE me the car, but I could take it out whenever I wanted. Pretty cool.

Yeah, she was a beauty in person. I definitely got some weird looks driving that car around when I was 16 (2001).
