Yes, but you can't use your VERY good trapspeed of 110mph against a below-average trapspeed of 102mph for an HR-powered 350Z or 370Z. 105-106mph is more fair.

So I find it a little hard to believe a G35 was reeling in a GTO up top.

Nope, too far!
I take it you are in Western Washington then? I can get you a run against a stock or near stock LS1 or LS2 GTO anywhere from Tacoma up to Marysville. Where you at?
You might not know, but I do: I've taken out two 370Z's from a freeway roll with my auto GTO when it was CAI/Predator tune/catback. (maybe 10-15hp more than stock). The faster the speed, the worse the kill for them. I was surprised how much faster they were then the 350Z's I had raced, but they weren't much of a challenge. Always wanted to dig race one when I was near stock but never got the opportunity.
LOL Everyone has a right to there own opinion! I like the looks of the GTO - 'course thats mostly because they are so rare and get alot of stares from people. G35 and G37 are quite literally a dime a dozen around here. Every 30th car is one, I kid you not. At least 3 or 4 times more common than a Mustang. Weird, but gets old seeing them over and over again.
Back at ya:
Hey look, I swapped on some newer stock GM heads and a small cam and I'm now at 450+rwhp. Just like you. Next I'm gonna put a maggie on it. Wonder what it will make at your psi?

In my experience the auto gto's are hit or miss with how well they run. I had a buddy with a full exhaust and tuned 6.0 auto and when I ran him it was like he wasn't even racing. I have seen a couple others like that also. Idk if they just had lemon motors or what the deal was. This may have been the case with this one. Anyways honorable death op!!
