I hated the gauge layout, too crammed together. I hate where the shifter was, adn I've seen how the manuals are the same. That's the one thing I could not live with about it. The Bullitt was a lot better in every single way (better be for 4 years 
). My seats suck but other than that I like the layout of my car's interior.

Sean, I am surprised you hate the interior of the Mach. The first time I sat in my dad's Camaro, besides the seat position which I like, the interior made me want to vomit. I guess differences, though, are what makes the world go round 
I would agree that stock for stock, LS1's definitely "feel" a lot faster than the Machs, even though they are closer than they feel. The autos on those have cast cranks while the manuals have forged, because of this the redline on autos is 5800 and the manual 6800, Ford did this (redline) as insurance for the weaker crank and the internals of the auto tranny weren't designed to spin nearly as freely as the guts of the T-3650. From the factory, both come with 3.55s. Other than the crank, they are identical engines with the same compression.

I agree. Any Mustang interior IMO looks so much better than a F-body. Manual makes all the difference in the world in the Mach. My g/f's Mach spins 2nd gear out of control to where you have to feather it to keep it off the rev limiter. And that is with 285s out back.

Like you said, different strokes. I sat in my cousins f-body he just got and disliked the shifter position in it. I will have to get used to it for the day I get a Firebird.

You should keep a look out for the thread I post later. Ran into a GT500 on teh way home from our FASTlouis river road cruise. I'm waiting until the video pops up from my friend.
Also, ws6 making 440rwhp stayed side by side with a 500+rwhp Cobrah, no vid of that one I think, but maybe. I wanna see a rematch of that one. We had a few stangs over there, you should have joined.
