His mods are 100 shot, shorty headers, cat back, Cai, and some type of tune. He bought the car with the mods already on it. It's a a4 also. No clue if anything is wrong with his car. I seen him run at the track and he ran 12.88 all day long. His slowest run was 13.25 I think. I'm pretty sure my car will run mid to high12's. It's pretty fast for the mods I have. I'll have imonster get some vids of my car.

if i recall, fred told me when he was at speed inc it was pushing closer to the 370-390+rwhp range. His car goes sideways in 2nd, sometimes even 3rd! both a4 so no one is missing shifts or anything either. A win is a win in my book, i havent really seen any other ls1s race besides fred's, but i can say it does pull extremely hard for a bolt on car, i just watched it beat a 400whp integra the other day as well.

Sounds like the typical tired 'ol LT1 if you ask me. I mean a full bolt on 2v Mustang should go considerably quicker than 12.8x on a 100-shot, I don't think anyone would dispute that. So there's no reason an LT1 shouldn't. Could've been the opti, could of been one of the many problems LT1 cars exhibit, who knows

^ Yup. He did spin alot. Turbo sounded very nice and loud. It did pull pretty good on the top end. As for the 2010, we each have 1 win vs each other. 3rd time is the charm!

Man I don't know what world you are living in, but LT1's don't do anywhere near that with those mods up in Washington. Takes full boltons just to consistently get out of the 14's. Hell, full boltons, tuned, geared, drag radial wearing LS1 Fbodies are very rare that can get 12.8's or faster. Rare as in I've seen ONE do a 12.6 @ 108. He had a big stall and ET Streets at Pacific Raceways (NHRA track) with a altitude of 200' I believe.
My DD runs 12.70 with just a few bolt on's and a small 211 x 219 cam I got from Ellis. All times were at Pacfic Raceways in Washington.

I have had 5 LT1's and when the Camaros were bone stock all ran from 13.90 to 14.06 The Vette ran 12.59. With a few mods were running low 13's my Vette ran 12.68 with just bolt ons stock exhaust to borla's. Put a hot cam and ran 12.03 @ 115mph

Also, are you seriously trying to tell me a LT1 corvette runs 12.59 bone stock than I'm gonna raise one bigass BS flag.
Correct. Most headers/catback/lid/tune LS1 Fbodies seem to hover around 12.8-13.2 if they dont blow the tires off. I'm sure a big stall or great launch on drag radials will knock off up to a half second off that under ideal conditions. But we are talking about street racing where big stalls and drag radials on otherwise slow cars dont have much impact. Take away the track only possible hard launches and you are stuck with low mph cars.

My bad the Vette went 13.59 need to edit that Sorry. You can check the run list my car is under Stingray and only ran a few times this year. The best was 12.70 last year and 12.77 this year. I'll see if I could make it out to PR this Saturday and race you heads up it would be very close before your cam swap.

Fred (the OP) has one wicked LS1.
I'm the owner of the 2010, mods are: LT ARH's, CAI, Exhaust, and a Tune. I have an A6 and with that I'm putting down 390rwhp and 408rwtq on a Dyno Jet. Oh, I better watch out...people might call BS on that too.
Without the tune the thing was just a damn pig but now it's getting there.
Fred has beat me before, so I'm not surprised when he beat the LT1. Both cars are quick.
But hey, haters gunna hate.
