LS2 GTOs are slow!
Ran one tonight........at the track. I'll add the vid if my friend posts it.
2006 GTO - auto
headers, full exhaust, cai, tuned by the same guy who tuned my car.
Here's the slip...
He also ran a 14.3 and 13.7, best trap of 104 that I saw.

LoL, you put a 2.0 60 foot in your sig? You might want to start looking for another tuner. My daughter in all likelihood could out drive him. Of course her 60's are in the 1.8 range. Peace with you though, it is a bitch running on poorly prepped tracks and many people that read these posts don't understand its all relative. Looks like your friend needs a lot of practice though. Good kill

Damn Sean I expected a better 60 out of you tonight. I would have been there but we had a mandatory public practice I couldn't miss. Since your intake and tune I am sure you'd beat me now by a couple cars.

2000' DA, at crappy slow azz pacific raceways in Seattle. mods at time: Kooks w/cats, spintech catback, vavaram, internet Predator tune, street tires, Chris White 75% TM removed trans ECU. That guys MPH is absolutely horrible. Tell him to pull his floor mat out from under his throttle pedal- either that or ask his lady to return his ***** so he can go WOT.
First run ever with my car:
Second (and last of day) run did a little better:

I ran a 10.77 at 84 in the 1000ft and I only had a cold air intake, muffler delete, and weight out.

Doesnt sound too far off. Pacific has been known as a stingy or 'slow' track since way back when. With the DA corrected to zero, my runs would be around 12.5 to 12.6 I believe. Still, you did a good *** time for a near stock GTO! Must have got a great launch?

Lol my truck is faster than that gto's time and i trapped higher in the 1/8th mile with my car then he did in the 1/4.

Ok, lets make something clear. Obviously I didn't lace the post with enough sarcasm. If you guys see my posts around here, I don't usually rip on anything. I love GTOs, my girlfriend will probably be picking up an LS2 goat in the spring.
This thread was really a joke. I could not 60' for **** last night, I've gone as high as 1.90. I haven't lowered the tire pressure ever, since its a waste on street tires IMO.
I just couldn't believe this guys times since he had an auto. He was slow time after time. One pass he said he left TC but didn't tell me the time on that pass. I check out his car and everything after asking him his mods. It was his first time at the track he said, but he has the idiot proff tranny so I don't know how he couldn't get down quicker. He said he wasn't spinning or wheelhopping at all.
My mods:
lid
LS6 intake
longtubes
true duals
tune-which is a good one I might add, no need for a new tuner whoever said that.
10 bolt with new posi & 3.73s
245/50-16 street tires
stock clutch & master
Let me just say, by the end of my runs, the clutch did not want to come back at all. On my 4th pass, I missed 4th because it didn't come up at all. Didn't matter though, it was a **** pass anyways and I couldn't 60' like I usually do. Track prep was good, but I just could not get the launch down. I'm too big of a ***** to put DRs on my car since its my daily
In all honesty, the title was jsut to get a rise out of Ju1ce. I didn't know everyone else would jump my **** so quick.

There was one there, a guy from a local forum. he ran a best of 12.79 @ 112. I'll see if I can find his vid when he posts it. Quick ******. He's actually supposed to run my friends H/C/I LT1 for $100, but the Ellen Eff will also have a bottle.
Thanks, but I know it's got more in it.
See previous post.
Obviously anything with H/C/I is going to be fast. Read the previous post, it was sarcasm. I would hope a H/C/I car can take a bolt on car.
Wasn't it? Like I said, last night I couldn't launch for ****. I either blew the tires off, or bogged. Launched from between 3500-5000, varying speeds of clutch slips.
Like I told the other guy, I am pretty sure any GTO could, seeing as this guy's was an absolute turd. I really think that he was letting off before the end of the track, based on his traps.
