02'z/28 vs newer c63amg I was driving on the boulevard as a newer blacked out mercedes amg c63 amg comes speeding up on me and passes me doing about 80-90mph in a 45zone. we both caught the red light. as the green light hits i take off meduim because i dont know if this guy is going to go or not.. i switch in to second around 40mph and he steps on it, i mash the gas we were dead even i pulled a car lead and helt it to about 90mph then we were comming to a red light. looks like these cars run 12.7's and it had 1 passanger i guess that seems right.

i tried to run 1 once with my stock z06, and the guy was too much of a chicken **** to go.... instead of running me, he stayed back and did a 120mph+ flyby on the interstate

OP, good kill.
C63s are very respectable stock, and respond very well to mods. All AMG did was detune the 6.3 from the E class and stuff it in the C class. It's the same hardware, which means an aftermarket tune adds something like 40hp. They're awesome cars, the tune only record is 11.6@120.

OP I'm on the phone so I can't check your sig, what are your mods? I got my *** handed to me once by that car, they are heavy but they move pretty quick, if I'm not mistaken stock they trap north of 110..

Nice kill. I was going to be skeptical, I ran one a while back when I was making about 450rwhp and only pulled a fender by up to 120 or so, but I realized you're talking about the sedan not the coupe which is a CL63 I think. The naming scheme is so confusing.

Damn...450 and a fender? these benzs are quick. are they supercharged or sumthin?

The were 500-something hp, they are heavy but from a roll it moves out well, especially with the 7 speed auto. We only went from 70-110/120ish. I might have had more on him but it was a long time ago and the only thing I remember clearly is having half a dozen motorcycle cops jump the curb to get at us.
