The livernois video vs the 2011 Stang is what had my hopes up since I took a tuned SHO. Haven't lined up with one yet but after I correct my Knock sensors I know a nice silver one I will Yank...

its really too bad Gm doesnt get back into the turbo v6 game... worked out great in the 80's and should work out even better these days... Even worked out good later on with the GTP with the blower. Oh well kudos to ford for putting this out there and i hope GM counters back with a twin snail 6, or even better a twin snail v8, then i could care less about the v6

I doubt we'll ever see a factory twin turbo V8 with the way things are going, but a turbo or supercharged 6 cylinder would be cool. Always seemed to work well for them in the past.

One went 12.98 @ 105 mph with a catback and mild tune and another went 12.82 @ 106 mph with an aggressive tune (and they say it did 12.78 @ 110 mph on a diferent day).
Looks like they make about 275/300 in stock form and 325/350ish with a tune. Also looks like they gain huge after 5000 rpm when tuned right.

Being AWD it definitely has an advantage from a dig. My head cam Vette hard a hard time pulling out 12-second Escalade on the street because the Escalade would just leave and I would spin and have to play catch up.
Here is the video of out SHO vs a stock 5.0 and our SHO and a customer SHO at the track

The OEM turbos are GT15's and there isn't much room in the factory location to add a turbo that is physically larger. You may be able to change the wheel and get more power, but would likely have to relocate the turbos.
These cars heat up very fast. We've had ours at the track cooling for several hours where it was cold to the touch and idled to the lanes and it was already very warm. The customer with the silver SHO is going to have us add a T-Stat, radiator, and maybe a converter in the spring.
In reply to the earlier post about the looks, I wasn't sold on the looks stock, but we lowered ours, added Perma-chrome wheels, and dark, dark tint all around and it improved the looks dramatically IMO.

Nice work as always. It seems they run similar to an SRT-8 Jeep with a tune and the small turbos are rather maxed. At 4300+ lbs its a huge car!

i need some vid of this Lincoln LS that whopped a tuned SHO's *** lol..
ok, i have the proof i was looking for to say this.... here's an LS with 100 shot..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7Xvr...eature=related
in other words, you are mistaken about said "tuned" LS beating ANY new SHO...

here is my encounter with a SHO at the 1/8th track this summer... bone stock he was running 8.9's 9.0's which is awesome for a family car.... I was on street tires with the newly installed 4c stall... needless to say this track with street tires is very hard to hook up with this stall. took 330' to hook haha... i should post up a picture of the hp tuners log showing the tps and me trying to hook up lol.. but you can clearly hear the pedaling.. funny part is i cut a 1.84 60' on this run its just after the 60' there no traction.

I wasn't there when it went 110 mph. The customer showed me 2 slips where it went 110 mph and I have no reason to doubt him. In the video I posted above, the brakes weren't holding and he wasn't leaving very hard. The brakes in these cars are horrible. When I raced the Mustang, after 2 or 3 100+ mph stops, ours were smoked. The rotors were blue and the pedal went to the floor. The next time I tried to leave on boost, it would barely build any.

That slip has gotta be a little off... I can't see that tank going from 85 to 110 on the back half of the track. Should be more like a 106 trap with that 1/8th mile. My GTO went 89 in the 1/8th when I was stock and only trapped 111. No way is an SHO crankin out that hard back half.

Our Escalade was 6,055 lbs. It went 87.20 mph in the 1/8th and 107 mph in the 1/4 and I even pedaled, because it torque steered towards the wall at the beginning.
The slip can be seen at the end of the video
