you, who has zero credibility in the drag racing world, questions them and their credibility, when they have been pushing the envelope and have been
putting people on the trailer for years.
The bottom line is no SHO that traps 85mph in the 1/8th is going to trap 110.xx, period. It's been done 100 times and the highest traps for similarly modded cars are in the 108's and they're doing 86-87 in the 1/8th. There's no coincidence that the same car in question couldn't ever replicate that fluke trap speed.
and tuning.
Here's an idea...why don't you actually try to contribute something to 'Tech instead of calling out a world class speed shop who's done more for the LSx community than you can fathom.

You've completely overlooked what was actually called out and turned this into me calling out Livernois.
You make a bunch of awesome totally irrelevant points though.
No SHO with those mods is going 85-110 on the back half... period. The ones trapping 107-108 are going 86-87 in the 1/8th. Just because a shop has a slip that says it did doesn't make that slip any less accurate. Oh AND that same car couldn't ever replicate the time. So try and make some points that actually target the argument that I'm making, and stop turning this into something it's not.

I'm comparing SHO's to SHO's. Tell me why 99.999% of the SHO's trapping 86-87mph 1/8th are going 106-107 in the 1/4. The ones going 84-85 1/8 are going 105-106 1/4. But ONE car on ONE run went 85-110 and couldn't ever do it again.
Was it just a fluke, or was it because Livernois is a reputable shop and I'm a moron?
Slips for evidence...

But that one car does 85-110 and it's not a fluke.

They don't need me or anyone to "come to their rescue". All they do is win races, set records, and win championships...all on an international level.
What do you do and who are you to question them? Just curious.
The last thing I'm worried about is Livernois' sales. They're doing just fine without me. Trust me on that one.
As I stated above, I find it funny that
you, who has zero credibility in the drag racing world, questions them and their credibility, when they have been pushing the envelope and have been
putting people on the trailer for years.
Well, it sounds like you've got it all figured out. You should open your own shop and start your own race team considering your vast knowledge of racing
and tuning.
You called them out. Don't put that on me.

When it was stock, my car consistently trapped 84 in the 1/8 and 108 in the 1/4 at Pomona when they were still running the street legal drags. I'm confident that the timing equipment at that track was working correctly considering the number of NHRA and other large events run there. The back 1/8 gains seem right in line to me.
