Good race op. Wildside you are full of gm crap. My 2010 with a tune, gears and exhaust was a 12.70 car @ 106. (with dr's) You must have some serious mods on your truck or a bitch of a friend to beat his gt. I mean they are not blistering fast but damn. Your truck stock is a 15 sec at best truck. I bet my daughters civic si would walk it if its stock.

Yeah, without some decent mods those Silverado SS trucks can't really get out of their own way.

What level of decent are we talking about here? Tune only a SS silverado can movenout of its own way and then some from experience.

I knew three friends, one friend tune only went 14.7 at 93. Other two with exaust and an intake were mid 14 second trucks. You also have to take into consideration if we are talkin about the awd or 2wd.

I can also say that my 2004 hemi ram with 24 inch rims went 14.8 at 91 repeatedly. With muffler, intake, and a bully dog programmer. That I have time slips of, and the SS trucks would pull me all day. Im not saying they will destroy a stang though.

Don't get me wrong, I think they're cool trucks, and my experience with them is right on with what you've stated. I just have to agree with 2v-in-12's that a 2010 GT vs a Silverado SS is a one sided race unless the SS is heavily modded. I would bet that even a supercharged SS would have trouble with a stock 2010 GT unless the SS had other mods.

I didn't mean to be an *** but c'mon. I was running low 13's bone stock my first time at the track. They are not slow. I'm a solid 12.60 car now with drs in the 107-109 range. The BS was just a bit too much
