Default 02 trans am vs 09 cobalt turbo

Met a guy while at a local car show that happens every Saturday. He had a newer cobalt ss, I've heard these things can be surprisingly quick so I asked if he would run me. He agreed but would not go from a dig
His mods were full bolt ons, tune and meth injection.
We went from 55-115ish and he got about half a car out on me, I actually did better than I thought I would being an a4 on the freeway.

I'm full bolt ons and a vigilante 2800(more like 3400) stall converter. I think the converter has really helped me on roll races. I even pulled a 2011 manual 5.0 a few weeks ago

Good race! Those A4's are not at home on the highway so I'd say you did well.

From a Dig you would eat him alive. The SS Cobalt and SS HHR was GM's answer to the imports. The engine is based of the technology of the LSX engine. The only weak part of the 2.0 that I have found are the piston rings. I know because I blew mine running 28PSI and now Im only running 24-26 PSI.

With my Tune only, I held up to a 2002 Fully Modded Auto Z28 till 135MPH. freeway run. I didn't expect it but non the less I was pleased with my HHR. Im sure if you guys went a little faster, you would have pulled ahead.

In the end of the day though, I would love to have my old Z28 back.

Good "death". Think it would have been good to run him from a LOW roll, sure it would be close.

To top it off, you can get one for pretty cheap.
