Default Boosted Vettes at Plano Cars n Coffee

Just a little fun after some callouts at CnC. Black C5Z had some issues and wasn't able to compete. Ended up racing my client whom followed me out to CnC. It was his first time to the carshow and he really enjoyed it.

Short Details:

'08 Silver Corvette WideBooty
LS3/T-trim Century A6 Yank 3200 345/35/18 M/T's

'98 Black Corvette
408/Custom PT80 Rear Mount RPM A4 PTC 4000 295/45/16 M/T's

The first race wasn't as dare devil as it looked. I actually lifted so he could hit that gap easily. I'm all about keeping it safe as possible and saw he was running out of room fast.

nice races! Seemed to be hard to get you two to launch at the same time though. Did the silver vette break on the last run or just let up early?

Silver vette lifted early on very last race cause he walked me bad on that 10 roll and he didn't know we had the video crew on the big-end waiting for the flyby. Hence the reason I looked like I was doing a ricer flyby after getting drug by him. LOL

Both vettes run high 9's in the 1/4 and are daily drivers for us both. Goodtimes!

I would have thought the C5Z with the 408ci STS turbo setup would have mudered the LS3 vette..

Not an STS vette, I built the single rear mount setup myself.

LS3's are so freakin tough with those high flowing heads. I've come to the conclusion if I ever change my setup again I will be using some type of LS3/LS9 style heads and intake on top of my 408.

Yea I bet they would make a hugh difference over the 241 heads you have now. I am building my 402ci at the moment and will be using my Trick Flow 215cnc heads on that motor to. We opened the bore to match the block and put in some bigger intake valves. I hope she is going to be a trong runner..

The silver Vette has a 3.0" pulley on the t-trim, single nozzle meth, 3.42 gear on A6, 220/220 581,581 cam (got it when I had the factory converter), Corsa Sport exhaust, Kooks 1 3/4. Weight has not changed from the factory 1LT package, except for the supercharger kit, so 32XX lbs.
It dynoed 614 whp/546 rwtq on 8 psi, it's now at 13 psi, but no dyno.

I've got an ERL forged 427 ci on order with RMSMAN, so this set-up will be history soon...should be fun
