So since my car is paid off, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do to it? Money not an issue considering ill buy a part at a time. I would like it to be street-able still that way I can drive it on weekends and enjoy it.

probably not just from GM, but from the entire supply chain that was going to crumble if GM went down,

lol i have most of that already I know it can be faster than what it is.

The list that i have done to it is:
Cam - 231/235 617/621 113+3LSA
Pacesetter Headers 1 3/4 Long tubes, x pipe and dumps
Milled and Ported stock heads
LS6 intake (stock)
3:73 gears
3600 stall (forgot what kind)
Aluminum Drive shaft
SLP Lid
deleted MAF
Tune

Havent dynod it yet but was told it should def put down around 400 to the wheels and a little less than 400 trq at the wheels.

Guess what I am asking is where can I make more power and it still be a street car when I want it to be.

1.2m peeps were mentioned previously. I figured that was GM + suppliers and their employees.

ford was even though to collapse because they share so many suppliers throughout the big 3. so who knows if that's in the stats.

smaller gains--- a fast 92\92 will give you around 20rwhp on your setup. better heads would help a lot. if you want it to remain street friendly, then either nitrous or more cubic inches.

The only number that is "real" is the 10-11B that has been lost. No other proof has been posted otherwise...

So lets leave the other manufacturers out of this for a bit.

Yea Ill talk to my tuner see what kinda options and his advice on boring out the motor is. He did say the port and milled job on my stock heads flow just as good as some high dollar heads tho so IDK about buying them. As fare as the intake goes I have been looking at them everyone here says fast intakes but what about BBK intakes? they are cheaper and the same size IDK why people dont get them.

that makes no sense at all. there is definitely a grand scheme play in this thing. where the honest numbers are is anyones guess.

for example;

lets say you bought a kenworth for $180,000. and over the course of 5 years you netted $400,000 of income with it. once it hit 1.1 million miles you sell it for $50,000.

so did you A: lose $130,000, or B: make$270,000.....?

fast have a good reputation and are dyno proven. they have to be ported though. don't bother otherwise. I just got my ported fast 92. i'll be putting it on in about a month.

and when I say more cubes--- I mean like 50+ mpre cubes. bigger heads, cam etc.

if you throw more cubes at the same top end all you do is move the power curve to the left.

ok cool thanks I was thinking about getting the Summit Iron Block LS1 that they have. for 800bucks. and selling my motor and trans and rear end as either a package or separately and just build the iron block like bore it out, stroker kit and then a turbo so Like I said Ima buy one part at a time. Once I have all of the parts thats when Ill put it all together and see what she can do.

if you're thinking about doing a package that big, consult some experts. parts need to be matched to work properly. it why hio can run over 130 mph with a bolt on ls6, and some guys run 13's with cammed engines. you have to do your homework, period.

I need a diesel truck. Should be able to get one after I finish my car as long as work stays busy.

I'm with you on this...but so far I see the GM deal as this:

I lent you $50, you paid me back $39.50.

I made $35.00 from other people.

Did I still lose $10.50 from my deal with you?
