It's my trade. I have did alot of composite work and fabricating also.

I made this air box years ago. It was pretty fucked up when I got to redo the car. The guy wanted the airbox fixed.....lol It was a real pos. It had been wrecked up and fibreglassed. I fixed it and redid the the body on the car.

Here's a link to more pics of it. Once we got it done he was on track and went off to avoid another car and I had to fix it again a few months later.

We built the car for bell motorsports a long time ago. It's a 5.0 BMW v8 in a e46.

You guys should recognize one of these. I made it to have the most area of any lid on the market. Made everything more smooth and tapered to the maf also.

You've never made me look like a idiot.....but you have made yourself look like one pretty often.

That's why I didn't reply to you in that thread anymore. I wasn't gonna troll up the dude's thread.

Here's another airbox I did for our 6cyl race cars years ago. I did not make this whole box. I modified a M box for a e46. I made the outer part, the snout, the little cover next to the snout.....well I made the part that those parts bolt to. Does that explain it better? I also made filter track that inside of it. I made all of it from the seem you see on the left over to the right.

Something about me explaining it sounds fucked up...lol

I've been wanting to build a hood.....just so much effort involved. I could get a hood to weigh less than 10lb on hinges I think. With doin a aero latch set-up and getting rid of some misc latch **** it could damn near get 20 more lb off my camaro. ...and I already have a light SS Carbon hood(23lb) on it.

Contemplating helium-filled tires on the build for less stress on the drivetrain.
What's your take on that, HiO?

His car is too light for that, it would float away, lol.

HiO would run 4's in the 1/4 with helium filled tires. His initial launch would angle his car toward the sky and the helium would lift him off the ground. The torque from his launch would be realized throughout the entire 1/4 and with no drag because the tires wouldn't be touching the ground, he would be running 4.50's in the 1/4 with "a bolt on LS6."
Hello, World Record.
