I hope it could be just tuned out. As for cam swaps, cam swaps on a ZR1 aren't. more costly than other current cam swaps, the reason the new Z0 cam swaps will be costly is due to the need for DOD delete. Speaking of cams I'm still eating for your response on the cam in your car? Are is this a pseudo cam and a pseudo car?
If I didn't tell you the last time, what makes you think I'll spill the beans this time around?! Ask Ed Curtis if you're dying to know the answer that badly silly guy. Good luck on that one tho.

This was at LVMS in +1900 DA. At my home track back in Cali it probably would have went 9.7X's with the air we get out there.

my 09 5.3 got around 1 mpg better than my 04, but I contribute that more to the 6 speed.

I have heard from guys that got into the perfect conditions, and got over 26 mpg with a 5.3. but that was downhill with a good tailwind so it stayed in 4 cylinder mode most of the time.

My 03 6.0 gets gawd awful mileage, but at least I don't have to worry about these DOD/valvetrain issues I've heard many speak of.

Looks like I'll have to put up with the poor mileage a bit longer as she just recently ticked past 76k

My best MPG was done with the lifters ticking all the way fromSan Antone to Dallas! 25+. v4 mode almost the entire way. Literally, the next day it went into the shop for new lifters and cam.

Since we're never going to run or meet, what would it matter? May be just may be it'd help others out. Just a thought.

So if this vvt and dod with active fuel management is gonna be harder to tune why is it that the challengers, chargers, and 300s can be tuned? Is it bc this is new to the tuners of GM cars?

HIGHLY unlikely its an E85 car. To my knowledge, its driven almost as a daily... and E85 is only found in some neighborhoods in NY, and none in the city, really. L.I., Upstate, Yonkers, NJ.

Unsure on the setup. Just going to see whats up with a run... Looking like Sat isn't going to happen because weather predicts rain.

Oh and umm...
