Gentlemen... Honda S2000s... what do they trap? Stock? Boltons? Weakpoints from a roll? I know they have no real low end tq (no real tq to begin with)

My friend trying to set up a run for this sat, and I'm hoping to go up against it. We're supposed to meet up sat to discuss and come to agreement on race... assuming sat doesn't rain or snow.

I don't see why it would be any more difficult to tune than earlier DOD vehicles? Tuners will have it all figured out by time the new Z06 hits the streets, trust me on that.

"Cam swaps will be costly"....keep in mind this is a $100k car were talking about here.

They're slow. Really, really slow. My roommate used to have one that I drove all the time, fun cars. I think they trap high 90s with bolt ons. There's a local guy who has a bolt on, geared, 100 shot s2000 and I think it traps 112-114.

I'm gonna give you close-to-ideal numbers here, so I don't want to see people all like, "Well the one at my track didn't run that!!" A great running car in great conditions with an experienced driver will run high 13s @ ~100mph stock. Bolt-ons drop a couple/few tenths, and add a couple mph. The weakest roll point would be under ~20mph because of the lack of torque. 30mph or 50mph are gonna be the strongest roll speeds for it.

Why would cam swaps be that much more costly?

Yes they did! I do notice they keep saying "atleast" 625hp and 645tqu. Makes me think it might come out with more and are saying atleast 625 so to not **** off current zr1 owners with the z06 having more power?

My bolt-on LT1 had zero issues with a few bolt-on S2k's, so you should be fine.

Friends with full bolt on E85 tuned on an AEM ecu went 7.4-7.5's in the 1/8th in at like 85 mph or something it had nt05s and it would frustrate ALOT of cars from the dig.

I'd have to disagree on this. My '04 that didn't have DOD would get 15/20 MPG with the stock 3.42's. My '07 and '09 would get 16/22 ('07 had 3.73's) and 16/24 ('09). It worked on flat highways which we have a lot of in Texas.

I hope it could be just tuned out. As for cam swaps, cam swaps on a ZR1 aren't. more costly than other current cam swaps, the reason the new Z0 cam swaps will be costly is due to the need for DOD delete. Speaking of cams I'm still eating for your response on the cam in your car? Are is this a pseudo cam and a pseudo car?

7.5 in the 1/8th at 85mph? I went 7.98 at 90mph

Not taking ANY car seriously which dead hooks from a stop would lead to frustration.
