Yea i dont know that much about them but id like to have a super snake if i didnt get the 13 gt500..... looking at it they have lost some weight from 2007 to now still its a 38xx pound car but finally the power is more than enough to haul it down the track. The older ones definitely needed work or be lightened. Regardless ive always liked how they looked though but i still wouldn't get one too heavy for me. Definitely interested in how light the new muscle cars are gonna be (the mustangs and camaros) idk if dodge is gonna be lighter with there new models they have a strong engines but they need to be lighter as well
It won't 60' worth a damn because I can't drive it, and because possibly the tires are bad. Shifting is easy...launching not as much. It has gone 1.76 to the 60' in a 3800lb car with 386whp. That's not terrible by any means and it's been 1.77 on a radial as well and less MPH with the radial then with the slick on the top end. It's not slowing me down. It's not way too much tire, lol. My suspension is set Konis on full soft up front and Torque Arm in second from top (I think) hole - forgot to check pinion angle last time I was under the car, and LCAs in lowest hole I believe. The suspension is not setup for drag racing as that wasn't what the car was initially intended to do. You can ask Heater about the track and launches if you want because he saw them outside the car albeit down the line, no videos from side yesterday but the track wasn't holding much
Less difference than you think between the 2 motors. The extra .4 cu comes from the elimination of the cylinder sleeves. Little different cam profile, injectors that flow whats needed for the tvs, little larger heat exchanger/intercooler. Most of the differences are there to just support the extra output of the TVS.
If anyone is bored today here's the live feed for final eliminations from lights out 5. Supposed to start racing any minute but first up is the gay *** bracket and index.

I went to the track the other day, and I love seeing the riced-out Hondas run. A super-riced 93 hatchback(with gay spoiler and suspension bling) was racing against a newer civic si with a fart can. I laughed, saying how the riced ones always run the slowest. He didn't disappoint, running a 16.54@83. Lol

The kid who was driving the red RPM C5 is from KY. He got arrested for stealing a bait car of the side of the road lol. Him and his dad were using tow trucks to steal cars and sell them to his uncles scrap yard. If anyone goes to any of the LSx events you'll know them as the people with powered by god all over their camaro lol.

I watched Guitar make a bunch of passes yesterday and I made a couple of passes in it.
I can tell you that his driving isn't to blame. The track wasn't in good shape, but it wasn't the tracks fault IMO. We have had a lot of rain and some ice the past few weeks and this weekend was the first nice weekend that we have had, so a lot of cars that had bugs showed up. One Chevy II came to the line twice, pouring all over the starting line and like Guitar said, a bunch of imports showed up.
My car wouldn't hook and I kept waiting for the track to come around, the track staff kept dragging it and spraying it, but it just wasn't working.
When I drove Guitar's car, the first thing I noticed was the clutch has little room for error and the second thing I noticed was that when I was doing the burnout, the tires would never get sticky enough to start pulling the motor down. My first burnout, I swear I held it for what felt like a minute, waiting for the tires to start pulling the motor down. The car couldn't find a happy medium, either you left with the rpms lower and it bogged, or you left minimally higher and it spun. I'd like to see him swap tires, just to rule them out, but it's hard to blame them with the track as bad as it was.

I know what stock engine means dipshit but a stock 07 gt500 will not do 10s in the qaurter mile. Period
1st they weigh close to 4k pounds with out driver.
2nd its 1/4 mile is 12.9 sec @ 112 mph
( http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...y-gt500-page-2)
So like i said you would have to do some weight reduction and some slicks or and modify the suspension to get it into the 10s range.
If im wrong prove me wrong please im just guess at what would have to be done.
I dont even putting some slicks on the car in completely stock form would even get it into the 10s, i can see 11s though at a better track and negative DA again if im wrong please tell me
