yes they fit on a 8. Thats what I run. A 10 inch wheel is a bit much for a 50series.if your gonna stay on a 26 I would stay 8. If you consider going to a 60 Series (28) then a 10 wouldn't hurt.

8 also is lighter but limits your tire sizes

Its pushing it alittle but will probably be fine. A 9inch is perfect but not many companies make a 9 inch wheel. 28s fill the 10 up alot more when the side wall is taller. (Not as stretched) you want a certain amount of sidewall flex vs stretched tight.

I don't believe in upsizing untill you can't hook the shorter lighter tire. Its an advantage up untill the point where it no longer hooks. Then the 28 looks more apealing.

I would have went with a 28" tire but wanted to maintain my gear ratio. if I just don't like the setup I can still go with a 28" and some lower gears.

Your fine on a 26 where your at. Don't add too rotating weight until you overpower where your at.

Not worried about the motor though cause i'm only paying $3000.00 for the car. I am thinking about just throwing a Coyote motor in it and sell that old 32V 4.6L motor..
Do it.

Yes. And then work on suspension, then when that doesn't work anymore move up a tire size.

you can go along ways before needing a bigger tire. I hope not to need more than a 275/50 until I add nitrous.

I guarantee Iowa seasons aren't much better. In fact, probably worse.

Coyote swap a new edge 2V GT. That would bring the butt hurt.

All dem cubes doe, brah.

On another note, being 23, 24 in a month - I feel like I am at the awkward age where half of my friends are either engaged or married having babies and the other half are too drunk to find their cell phones...

You're not going to make enough power to need more tire.

If you're wanting to go the route of not over tiring it you should be able to get it done with a 26x8.5

Stout for a LT1, which doesn't make even 400whp
