Odarabla's infinite BS thread for the foreskinned (AKA Smack Down)
Vette beat a SBC nitrous Chevelle first round. BBC fox nitrous fox beat a BBC nitrous big tire first gen camaro first round. Vette broke on the burnout in the final and the fox took home $750. Only got one good video, I'll upload it in the morning.

Check the build thread. Quadros that support 4 monitors each...x4. I might get risers but just because of heat. Fan might take care of it though.

If looks aren't a concern, a horizontal mobo test bench style case with PCIE risers would be what I would do...
Attach a support bracket across the top, have each card vertical, then you just need a front intake/rear exhaust fan for some circulation. Set it up like the crypto currency miners do. Case would be fairly large cube style though, not a nice standard tower.
If its just for displaying info, keep in mind most modern consumer cards can run up to 6x monitors over an active displayport hub or 4 using standard hardware. I know Quadros can be very expensive, but not sure how 2x modern cards would pan out vs what you have (didnt have time to read whole thread, just skimmed through it). Two cards spaced out would be easier to setup and cool then 4 with the middle two touching...I've had to deal with heat from crowded GPUs, and it can be a pain in the ***.
Very cool project, I'll read the thread more when I have time. You should post it on Overclock.net. A lot of haters there(still not as bad as here though lol) but also a lot of guys that really know their stuff. I've seen a few sick multi-monitor setups there.
I have some crazy cooling build logs posted there as well for my current triple loop TEC rig.

Geesh, those two middle GPUs are basically touching!

They are, but sitting in my office they weren't getting over 63* C or so, which is higher than I'd like I guess but honestly not too bad for just heatsinks. Space is kind of a problem and so is looks so as I would contemplated the open case idea it's not really feasible...I could 'wall mount' the PC too but there's so many cables and **** that I just don't know. If this doesn't end up working I'll have to anyways so we'll see what happens.
I got these cards for $25 a pop. They are older Quadro cards with DVS-59 ports and all support 4 monitors over VGA or DVI (up to 1920x1200 I think at least). There will be 16 but also I need (read: want) these all to display something differently - but not only that we had 16+ of these sitting around and the goal was to do this cheap. I have...$300-$350 in everything now, closer to the latter but still not that much, most of it funded through selling old **** out at work that we had lying around anyways.
I'll eventually post it somewhere else but I want to get it done and working and actually mounted. TPU is a pretty cool community full of good information usually. I think I have a profile on Overclock but never really been on there...and I was banned from Anandtech and Hardforum a long time ago.
Anyways, the system doesn't seem to be liking 16...12 is fine, but 16 not so much. Gonna troubleshoot some more when I have some free time, this took most of my day today. Got them all roughly mocked up but only two actually mounted on boards. Anybody smart would be ponying up the cash for 4x4 vesa mounts but since I have to do this cheap it's this crap.

Nothing says '**** you' like finding out the previous owner changed the wiring around on the starter once you've got a new oem one in hand and find out its not getting connected the right way now. LOL

Ordered a second one today. I'm going to have a split setup, one antenna for the passengers side radio stations, one for the drivers side. Looking forward to it. Double the musical enjoyment!
