Putting together LSX twin turbo or pro charger car, in a 81 Regal on E85, methanal injection. should be able to get it into the low 9s or 8 range as a crate motor. Then next season, plan on going through it, heads, longer stroke more cam. Eventually going for the 7s. Anyone have experience with the crate motors?

Woo! Another Buick guy... Which crate motor are you speaking of? I wouldn't do a GM crate motor, I would have somebody build it to your specs!

Come get some sketchy KY track life. I've seen cars go 5s/8s with no cage. Local guys turbo LSx fox went 7.48@188 today. He won the first cash days we had here on the street a couple months ago.

Sounds pretty stupid to me. Would suck to crash at those speeds with no cage... At least it will keep funeral costs down.. Just burry the cube of a car you are left with.

Agreed. It's usually the nice street cars that people don't want cages in. If I were you I wouldn't waste the money on a 6 point if you plan to continue modding the car. I would put a 10 point in it and go as fast as you want.

I won't put a bar in my Cobra. They tell me every time I run that I need one if I'm going to run that fast. I just wait a few months before I go back and they have forgotten about me already. lol

The Dolphins were a win away from being in the playoffs last year, amidst all that bullying scandal BS, they're not a team to sleep on. Pats have made it to the AFC championship after starting 1-2 or 1-3 a couple years ago.
