Some of y'all mother ******* have too much faith in me, damn.
One pass was a 15 (aborted due to 2nd gear saying **** you multiple times during the day) and other a 12.31. DA was 1800 today...was -500 at Coastal Friday night, shoulda gone there. Anyways, track was pretty slick but didn't matter in my case. I couldn't get it to launch worth a ****. Started high tire pressure, bogged. Raised launch RPMs, spun. Tried different lane, spun. Lowered RPMs back to what I was launching at, spun. Basically spun almost every pass except a few, like these here. This video was pretty much how the day went, minus hitting second gear this video. MPH was 114 all day, hit 115.00 once. And I haven't been power shifting, as you can see in the video. I'm going to change the trans fluid to something better and start doing it, for some reason I feel the trans isn't liking the Mobil One.
I gotta say I'm pretty damn disappointed. The track was actually pretty damn good last week, DA was ~600, but there were so many damn cars. Today track was just not there and I tried changing pressure, launch RPMs, rear shock settings and nothing worked. I ran about three times slipping the clutch and couldn't even get a good run. I hope Dragging Rights has lower DA than today.

I'm going to bank on Dragging Rights having good DA, because I KNOW the track prep will be stellar. As long as I can get a few good runs in (I'm joining a class just to get some extras), it will be the sign of whether or not I can do it before the gears. They won't be going in until next year if I do them.
And no, you can run 8s at that track with no safety equipment. I've seen it done, it's awesome.
