At the track it and the tight converter really shows how weak the car is in a 1/4 mile. Especially the 1/8th.

3.42's are way tall when you start turning it harder. They would put me at almost 120 for the 3/4 shift and about 155 to top 4th out. Most races are over long before that. If one is gonna use alot of gear the only way to utilize it is from a dead stop and hookin hard to take advantage of it.

Hammer, trying too hard.
I'm not surprised the new Z runs 10s. It's the best looking Vette ever, too. Those clear tails do it for me for whatever reason. I love the more exotic look, C5s and C6s are nifty and all, but these actually LOOK the part.

Oh, cool. Drag radials come stock on Hellcat's now because I thought bone stock they didn't.
I actually have 3.54's and traction isn't that big of a problem as long as you have your suspension dialed in and a sticky tire. If the road is **** then you're going to have problems regardless. Alot of guys go 3.23's with a th400 to make the car a little more street friendly since there is no OD.

Only Dodge has done those times from what I've seen. Both of these cars don't really have a time associated to them yet until we start seeing owners take them to the track, IMO.
Although if the C7Z does only run 10.9, thats kind of a let down, IMO. The C6 Zr1 did better times with less horse, if im not mistaken.
