The moment you receive your first 9 second slip, the Virgin Mary herself descends from the heavens and gives you an almighty ******* on the spot.
Unless you drive a Ford, then you get a sweaty guy named Al who rubs his nuts on the back of your head when you get a 9 second time slip.

I'm a need heads, cam, !weight, and prob some spray to get there lol.
I'm shooting for a low 12s high 11s when all said and done, which a heads and cam should do the trick. Will make for a solid DD I think.

The best pass 100% stock with 110 miles on the odometer was 12.41 @ 115.9 mph. It was traction limited and the track was extremely busy, so I didn’t get a good feel for the car and how to launch it.

Yes it is! This doesn't pertain to the 2013 GT500 but a guy I know that has a newer GT500 went 9.98@143mph (He is also like 3500lbs race weight) but spent a lot more $$$$ than that to run his #'s. This is being done on the stock blower with minimal suspension mods.
My personal opinion is this car is doing very well for what it is. But it seems like Ford was getting tired of being the little guy and decided to ramp **** up a bit. I think a lot of GM owners are going to be butthurt once the new GT500 comes and and the modding begains!! Look how well the 5.0's are doing. There are still a few bugs to work out of them but damn them suckers are running good..

You have to admit, the power train in the new ZL1's is insane.
Something that people on this site seem to ignore or don't understand is weight. For it to run as fast as it does for it's weight is impressive.
