I'm talking every single day. Daily driver.
Again, I'm just trying to comprehend if a 300,400,500 hp civic is in fact usable as a DD. From everything I've seen it would be a NIGHTMARE to drive one every day, from the lack of TQ in normal operating range with the cams they must need to spin and make power to 8 or 9k, to noise, or being reliable.

With the right turbo and compression and e85 if it's in your area, 300+ is ******* easy to DD, which I stated. 600, not so much, but can be done, but in Phoenix and Tucson there are a bunch of 300 hp boosted Hondas doing it. You don't even need cams for 300 hp on a properly thought out B motor.

Whether they are this or that, I have to say I'm impressed with what some of the little buggers can put down. I just HATE how they sound and look. Not a big fan of the torque curve either I would rock a nice rsx though for a daily though
Oh shut up, you were running 13s! LOL . I know what you mean though, which is weird...because I never know what you mean.
They're not usable for anything. Hey look at me I got a 600fwhp civic oh wait I can't go from dig... lets hit a 90 roll.
They are shitty cars that only serve one purpose : high rolls. On the other hand a 6-7-8-9xx rwhp v8 can be driven daily easily and is tons of fun. Before slicks and srt10, my SS was my daily at 6xx rwhp with a mildly big cam and no torque converter and the **** was fun as hell.

I HATED that thing, biggest **** box I've ever owned. I just couldn't picture putting power in one lol The only thing that comes to mind is death trap.
I would prefer to know my enemy then just disregard him.
There are a LOT of civics with front mounts in my area and, most of them I can promise are built like ****, so I'm just trying to learn whats believable and what isnt, but from how you made it seem, they should all be easily make under 200whp cause they are not planned out correctly lol
To bad all the kids around here only want rolls....guess they know what will happen lol
Also, this...

Dude, a LOT of people can't build a honda for ****. I saw a gutted, d16, turbo civic at the track run a 16.9 I think at like 86 mph. My GF's d16y8 (vtec) 5 speed coupe trapped 79 mph I think. Car has a CAI (probably dirty as **** filter) and I think a header, but stock exhaust all the way back. Also on some ugly 17s, rubber band tires, and I was cutting a 2.6 60' from like 2500 rpms trying to ride the clutch Point is, a ton of turbo builds out there, most are ******* garbage. The ones done right are 300 hp, daily reliable, or putting out way more (several 500-600 hp ones out here, roaming the streets, no issues).

The only door to door race I've ever had was my buddies 03? bolt on tuned 18psi wrx. We run door to door from any roll, and I lack traction so he beats me from a dig.

...I just told myself that "ya you better hope we don't go any faster"...but in reality, in those days, I wouldn't have had the gumption to come around anyways. But didn't stop me from telling myself that...
edit:I actually had a buddy with a bolt on 2v '94 5.0 that would make you feel like **** in an lt1 if you didn't know how to drive it. No **** there....I learned how to bang my gears after losing to him and his sister (which happened to be my girlfriend at the time) shortly after. Amazing what a good driver vs. a novice can do...
Can't believe I admitted to that, but it was a decade and a half ago so I guess...
