I'm making a real effort to quit drinking after last night.


Buddy has fractured vertebrae 1 and 6. May be paralyzed. He has moved his arms and legs and is conscious but they are scared to move him because it's delicate. He at least is conscious now but really drugged up. Car haven't seen yet but been told by people who saw that it's a total ******* loss.
He left my house drunk as a rock after I tried to stop him. Apparently he switched drivers and let his friend drive and his friend wrapped a post.
Doctors ******* blow here b/c he is at a shitty public hospital and they wont let him get moved to a private one who would've probably fixed him up by now.

Worst part is he's just like me. We always get shwasted together but we drive very responsibly drunk. Very slow, very normal.....Soon as he gave the car to his friend...who was also drunk it appears...guys pedal to floor lost control almost killed the car owner. The guy driving only suffered a bruised knee.

Sorry to hear that 2ss. I'm very much against drinking and driving of any sort. I've stopped hanging around friends because they would drink and drive and not listen to rhyme or reason.

Samefrom me, hope he recovers and learns his lesson about getting behind the wheel intoxicated too.

I've had to physically restrain some friends over the years over drinking and driving. My sister was scarred for life because a drunk hit her car riding his harley and killed himself.

I can understand how it would be scarring. I have my reasons for not drinking anymore.

Drunks are pretty easy to restain usually. Only ever had one of my buddies try to fight me, he tried to stab me with a coffee mug handle. We used to get crazy in the army lol

At the time I was ~160 and friends were 220+ I'm not saying I'm a wuss but thats just a uphill battle for me to do much other then becoming a backpack.
