Its sad when Viper owners and GTR owners don't even know they were racing a Regal and then someone goes to an LSX board to talk crap about them. Next story about a Regal better have dragons and Thor in it. I could believe that.

Sorry Juice, I am all for Turbo Buicks, but I HAVE to call BS. You are pulling 2 cars from 100-120 on a Viper GTS, that has 500HP and weighs 3200lbs, with a 3600lb Regal with 500 HP. You probably weigh a little more than the average Regal too, with your turbo set-up. Anyways, that doesn't happen usually. I am not even mentioning the aerodynamic and gearing advantages that the Viper has on you. Sorry dude, no way.

Okay, let's say the Viper has about 450cHP. I exagerated a little on yours, it doesn't make 500cHP either. It makes about 475cHP, using about a 15% loss factor. You weight 200lbs more than him.. And he has better gearing.. And aerodynamics. Vipers pull pretty hard up top. Idk, it doesn't add up. Also, how did you manage to strip 350lbs off your car?

The car weighs 3450 bone stock... I removed a 50lb supercharger and replaced it with an 18lb turbo... then I swapped to the aluminum subframe (saves another ~30lbs) I have a lightweight battery (saved ~20lbs) and no jack/spare (~50lbs).
That's roughly 130lbs out of the car somewhere around 3320lbs. According to multiple sources, the Viper is right around 3400lbs.
So I make more power by about 40whp... AND I'm close to 100lbs lighter.

I know what you mean by pedaling and you were not doing that. No idea why you were all over the rev limiter but you can tell once you shifted the car didn't have the power to keep spinning the tires, that's all I'm saying.

Simple i hit the limiter in first to keep the car from spinning as hard into 2nd. If you understand what spinning does and is, then you'd understand why i did this.
You said your car spins in third, now when someone says "spins" i would think it goes straight to redline right? I mean thats what spinning does....
