Instead of bitching about the snow like everyone else on facebook, about ~20 of my fraternity brothers and I went out to a field to play some snow tackle football.

My gawd am I out of shape, but it was so much fun!

Here's a sneak peak at the AFR gauge the V is getting. I thought it was pretty badass...

More average 370-375 then 360 for manuals, and auto right around 355-360

Loss is 12% on manuals and 14% on auto's. That equals 370 manual and 362 auto

Figured either you or Evan would chime in on it. Just trying to gauge how stingy of a dyno this is in comparison to many others.

340rwhp whether it be auto or manual would be pretty low it seems.

Yeah, they definitely perform very well to only be dynoing 340

I would definitely consider picking up a 2011+ A6 5.0. Just wish they didn't look so bland...

For me to purchase one, it'd need to look like Ohio's

How do you guys think my V will do against a stock 2013 gt500?

V should be throwing anywhere from 590-640+ rwhp.

590whp... it edges you out... 640whp... you pull away fairly well. All assuming the GT500 guy can drive

Then my dyno jet must be a stingy one then.

He's an extremely good driver.

Will be posting baseline and then final dyno results in a few weeks.

Going to be 100% against the type of car guy I am. I like loud loping mean sounding *****. This thing is going to be quiet and tame until you mash it... completely different than the 5th gen.

Just make sure you make a "viral" video when youre done. That way you can quit your job and let the real benjamins roll in!

Lol. Mike Morris will make a viral vid soon. Don't worry. He's close to the V and will be visiting it.

That V should make you alot of money on race bets, considering no one knows what it is out there. I'm dying to put my cutouts back on and keep em closed. It was much better when it didn't sound as loud. People tested it more.

Running from a dig? I'd have you as winner from a dig, assuming you can drive (LOL Launch) but it should be close on a roll. If I HAD to pick, I'd say you on the roll, but not by a whole lot. I'd like to see it for sure, so get vids. Put some real tire behind that thing, btw.

I think it is a little. And one I go to is about 2-3% high I think. I have seen stock 5.0's make mid 380 on it. Which is just a little high. They have made that on few others but not enough to believe it. But we all know dynos are diffent. The mustang dyno that was in TX will break guys hearts that made great numbers on dynojets.

Yep..at 640 he should pull. How much not sure. The weight savings of the GT500 will help. The GT500 seems to make 580-600whp on different dynos. Hell one Guy claimed he made 62x bone stock..a little high really.

I'm starting to get over dyno numbers. To many different dynos reading to different.

Yeah, I know. Dynojets read 1 thing, MDs read another, but in another state, its vice versa, etc.

I was trying to gauge it on average in comparison with the shop I dyno'd at. Dynos are just numbers. Rather have them stingy then generous.

Dyno's are only a tuning tool. Tools like the dyno dynamics or mustang dyno's are far better tools than the dyno jet. The track is where you go to see how someone and there car performs.
