The Honda guys put the term "douchebag" on the map. This goes back to the 90s when every single Honda with a fartcan would pull up next to your domestic and rev it to the limiter. LOL The latest generation seems to be a lot better tho.
The price of the car has less to do with it than you think. Maybe you're just a bit intimidated by people with a little money and you perceive it that way.

Now the racing that went down this last summer when a gun was pulled on a kid for stealing a Honda engine out of another kids car and putting it in his... yeah...
I may not get out much, but I've noticed just the opposite here. Most of the high dollar/high HP cars around here are owned by some of the most humble, laid back car guys I've met. May be a contributing factor that we are born and raised Iowans

Couple of years ago, the local SRT/4 Neon owners were pretty bad.

They started off as that when I was in high school with them, but now they're all still in POS underperforming Hondas talking mad smack.

That being said, I can respect any car that is fast (preferably fast and clean) with a chill owner who is down to run it with no drama involved. If the owner tries to push their stuff on me while I like different stuff and advertise their cars as something it is not, that is when I tend to be a bit more critical of them

That is the exact same reason why honda owners don't like other honda owners. Me specifically i only hung with a couple people who had hondas. The rest i hated, and sometimes i was ashamed to own a honda cause 98% of the people who had them were turds. It sucks how inflated and shitty the honda "scene" is. Oh well, i don't own one anymore so i don't have to deal with that childish ****.
