In direct comparison dyno tests against a factory LS6 intake manifold, the Qualifier produced 17.7 more horsepower* at 6,200 rpm. It also makes more power and torque at low and mid-range engine speeds than other aftermarket manifolds. This design features a larger plenum volume, which makes the manifold suitable for larger displacement engines. Comes with a 96mm inlet. The 96mm inlet version of this manifold can be used with either the stock 91mm LS2 throttle body or various aftermarket large bore throttle bodies.

Thanks for contacting us. The dyno performed on this was on a stock LS6, against a stock LS6 intake. Similar, but not identical increases can be expected for the LS1's.
If your engine compartment is a stock 2002 LS1 this should be an easy fit except for the TB. Make sure you have a compatible throttle body for this kit. It requires a large-bore throttle body that has four bolt holes instead of the smaller TB's three-hole design. Have a great day!

used that gay vbox **** on the v to see how fast it trapping ran a 125 trap with me lifting off the gas twice causing half second delays in transmission to re-engage due to dangerous spinning. Car is un-launchable/un-driveable at WOT under 60mph..... Think if I have traction and not having to lift car could easily be a 130 trap car. Not bad for grocery getter.

I have welds and I have slicks. Exact same setup from 5th gen work on my V, I just really am not interested in making it a full race car. The thing is a NASTY sleeper. I have been raping r8s, cayenne turbos, just about everything on the street these past days. Different rim/tire setup would give it away real quick...not that my stock license plate helps lol.
But like I said, it's brand new here and it's the only V. I wanna terrorize the street a bit as a sleeper until I put the wheels on it.
