I don't see in any way how that could be max. I head great gains with my fast on a bolt-on ls1. With a bolt-on ls6 I'd think I will gain atleast 10rwhp.

Yea that would suck. I have to get piles of parts out of our conex's that reach 150 degrees. You walk out into 110 degree weather and it feels like a 70 degree day again lol.

That is why I started operating heavy equipment on pipelines, A/C cabs and I get to enjoy the outdoors.

I haven't but unless you manage to exceed 100% humidity and temps of 100 I fail to see how it's worse?

Guys, I'm getting pretty excited about my new combo.. Tear down starts Saturday, and I should be able to get most of it assembled same day if everything works out. I'll be gone the whole week at school for a summer program, so I can order something if I have to. Intake is being ported and polished, turbo converted to a 6176, and exhaust manifolds welded up (commonly crack on these Buicks, sadly). Hoping to put down like 500RWHP and run 125 or so mph in the 1/4.

FL heat ******* sucks, hot as ***** and so humid you almost have to chew the air to breathe. Leaving work a few days ago it was ******* 106* in the parking lot and of course humid like always.

+1... being in an attic during the summer in bunker gear is horrid...but you don't typically have to spend more than 15 minutes in it at a time.

What did you gain? And was it over an LS6 or LS1 intake?

I am in natural gas compression myself. Louisiana/East Texas is no better in the summer. I have been working in South Texas for awhile this year too.
