Same, something about the sure brutality of the Z06 (less robotic) just entices me

So the other night I was reminded why Hondas are my least favorite cars in this hobby. Only about 1 out of 20 of them are respectfully quick, the other 19 are the loudest ones. Sounding like a horde of weed wackers coming up the road. This one Del Sol was so loud yet so slow, it probably would run 16s
End rant

Sweet christ, I have internet again!
This is how i feel about it, anything that was "civic" has been replaced.
In my area civics are the cool thing to get, I cant tell you how many stock engine hondas I see with race recovery loops on the *** ends, "like **** bro, that torque steer putting you in trees or something?" lol

Was pulling the battery out of the TA today & between the car and the front door, one of the terminal screws must have dropped somewhere. I've spent the last 45 minutes searching the ground with a flashlight, by hand and with a magnetic pen (found out later that the screws aren't even magnetic really).
Leaves on the ground, frigid *** weather, darkness, non-magnetic, necessary component. Blah.

Well I got the final results on the car!! The #'s aren't that good because I am blowing through the converter.. Geoff Said when he nails it on the dyno the car jumps straight to 6000rpm, hazes the tires and he shuts it down at @6800rpm.. Looks like ima have to drop the tranny to pull the converter out..
Anyway. The car only made 450rwhp and 395 ft. pounds of torque to the tire. This setup should make tones of low end torque because of the heads and intake on the car..

You mean like when someone does a turbo F-body and replaces just about everything? It's the same concept on any platform, if it makes one less "camaro/mustang/civic" than it does the same for all of them.

There is a shop in FL been building 450-500whp SI's for about 5yrs now. All them look basically stock. They even came out with a turbo kit to just slap on. Guy who worked for me bought it after last deployment. You would never know looking at the car it was turbo'd till he popped hood. Or you heard the BOV.

How is it not a civic any more? It still looks bone stock. Has A/C, heat, factory seats. Just a turbo kit and exhaust. The K20 blocks will handle that power on stock internals with the right tuning. Much above that and they pop.

Opened up to 4" Trick flow heads 215cnc with a bigger intake valve's, ported fast 90mm, EPS custom 246/255-607/632@113+2, LS2 402ci th350 tranny with a 8" 5000rpm stall converter that is flashing to 6000rpm. Tuned by Geoff @ EPS. Dyno #'s don't mean **** with a high stall converter like that. Anyone that races knows that.
I got down it for the first time today and all I can say is HOLT ****!! I am gonna take to the track with the current converter then I am going to drop the tranny and send the converter back out to get cut to about a 3600-4000rpm stall. BTW the car has awesome street manners..
