OP, good kill. I drove one of the new 5.0's. They are nice. With some $$$ thrown at them they are also VERY capable of making huge power. But hell, if you throw money at any car, it can make lots of power. Someone mentioned about letting the 5.0's catch up in the mod game, thats an accurate statement...but I say, the guy never should have messed with ya. Most car guys can tell (for the most part) if they're out gunned, or at least they know what is done to their cars to make them think they can pick on this car or that car. Either way, you did what any of us would do when called out...stomp 'em if you can.

If you look left of my reply it tells you. I have seen a few at 3 in one place. Cars N coffee meets. Austin has one where 3 show up. They are not even the same two that live where I live. That is 45min away. They also have Lambo's Ferrari's, About every Porsche show up.

There are more than 2 ZR1's in SA.

The 5.0's are fairly quick with mods, but fall off. Their gearing sucks for high speed roll racing. Better make sure their #8 doesn't pop on them.

Yes cause there has never been a issue with LS anything. I remember LS3's having some issues as well. Oil pump issue, the tailshaft on the trans. Lifter issues on the L99. Or the issues with the issue with G8's sucking in water from aftermarket cold air. Hmm sounds like the 5.0 not only one having issues. Least ours is just from some bad tunes veing put out.

And a few(under 5) cars having an issue isn't a real issue being there is 10k more then that on the streets. And then amazingly all these cars having issues get mentioned but seem to have no more info on said car with #8 issue.

Guess you haven't paid attention to what the new SS have been running. I just read like 6 threads on Camaro5 alone that guys with KB and over 500hp was hoping for mid 11s. Same for here. Then the fact the N/A SS can't get out its own way.

Looks like Government Motors is sucking wind right now.
