G8 GT(bolt ons) vs 300SRT8(Cammed) *vids* We ran em at the track first, then took it to the streets.
Me and my buddy went to the track to run em and see what would happen. Weather wasn't all that great. Our heads up pass was made with the DA close to 2000ft. I ran 13.0 vs his 12.8. Both of us on street tires. I later ended up running 12.89 at 1200DA and he ran a 12.58. His car definitely pulls hard up top and sounds damn good
Mods I have intake, long tubes, high flow cats, catback exhaust and tune. He has a mild cam, intake, high flow cats, corsa exhaust and intake.

I'm in it until triple digits start approaching. My 2.92 rear end is killing me. I'm seriously thinking of swapping to a GXP auto 3.27 or a Camaro SS 3.45. Thant would help, but a cam swap to get me in the 11's would be really nice.

You did pretty good for your mods. I will say you need a stall bad. The G8 gain about .5 at the track with just a stall, that will let you beat him right there. . Then do a cam/fast 102/Nick Williams Tb/ported heads. You will be spanking him when you are running very deep in the 11s and he is still running mid 12's. That or just slap a small wet shot on it. I went from 12.6 to 12.1 with a 75 shot and no tuning for it.

The wet shot is interesting, but i'm not sure how much the investment would cost to do it right.

total package kit from nitrous outlet is like $1200, but they seem to have black friday sales and misc sales so might be able to get it for a bit less. thats wat im waiting for

hes driven my truck with a 3600 and its prolly too much for him since he drives in sf for work and i could see that just being annoying. 2600 wouldnt be bad specially since hes thought about changing gears as well
